You guys were extremely, extremely lucky. There was the worst civil war in Myanmar's history which started a few days after you guys left I reckoned, on the very first day of February 2021. And still going on right at this minute, and getting worse day after day. Thanks, heaps for sharing this beautiful video clip by the way. 👍

Nice video! SE Asia, well N Thailand and surrounds suffering a drought at present so everywhere yellow, dry and dusty. I noticed that in your video too. Missing some rain; where we are in NE Thailand its not rained for over 2 months and now heading into dry season so might not rain until April!

Quite odd to have to wait for a Tuk-Tuk...during my visits in SEA I always got swarmed by Tuk-Tuk drivers! Never been to Myanmar though. Gonna visit this beautiful country next year for the first time during our planned 6-9 Months SEA trip! Thanks for all the great videos, your videos helped me a lot in planning our trip!

I agree about it looking Vietnam. The karst hills are one of the most strikingly beautiful in the world imho. Thanks for the great video I have never been to Myanmar.

There are only tuk tuks in Thailand. You went into a motorbike with some kind of side wagon. Well, there may be similar things to tuk tuks in other countries, but a motorbike with a side car is not a tuk tuk :)

Very cool drone footage I must say. Also, yeah Myanmar never lose to its beauty and culture to Thailand or any neighbors, it is just western media who paints extremely bad image of Myanmar sadly. Anyway, truth will reveal one day. Have a great trip, can see that you are enjoying it :)

@JumpingPlaces4 жыл бұрын
Inle lake was incredible! Ruin because of the pollution you mean?
@BIGJED754 жыл бұрын
@@JumpingPlaces Pollution is the cost of developing countries. We were there 3 years ago and could see that they were just building without any thought. Bagan was our pick of Myanmar, the history of the place is extremely interesting. We hired a electric bike and explored for hours. Keep up the good work. We also have a KZbin Channel called For Riel, as we have just moved to Siem Reap Cambodia.

I'm surprised u didn't see any tourists we did see a few when we were there. You should have visited the capital of burma it's a really random place.
@JumpingPlaces4 жыл бұрын
Yeah we only saw about 2 each day there. Maybe it’s because we didn’t stay downtown although we didn’t really see any at the attractions either. Yeah I searched the capital but didn’t seem to be much there to see? Is there anything there?

World is culturally diversified. We need to accept it. Exploring the different cultures, places & communities is not against anything or anyone. It is an awesome experience. In fact, you can visit a buddhist temple while believing in God. Same way, a buddhist can visit a church while being a buddhist. Same appllies to other religious grouos too.
