Thank you for this video of my favourite island. If you come to Symi again go up to the old village and lose yourselves in the lanes and get back and enjoy a beer at one of the bars at the top of the Kali Strata. There's loads of photo opportunities in Chorio and the views are amazing right at the top.

Thank you for your lovely, informative videos from Greece. I've been to 20 Greek islands and it's my favourite place. My favourites so far are Sifnos, Paxos, Symi, Amorgos and Naxos. I also love Corfu Old Town. Your videos are beautifully filmed and full of great visuals but they are also very calming to listen to. You are both quietly spoken so there's no yelling and you both come across as very calm, kind and chilled out.

@@Ptolemy336VVdont think so, we are having high temperatures from end of June , now in July we are in the 30’sC and the couple mentioned that their temperature was 19-20C degrees. So I guess these are from end of May beginning to mid June.

@@Olympicspirit Ah maybe you are right. I have friends in Greece at the moment who had very cold moment, because indeed normally it's 30s. But not when it storms. Greece had some storms lately, which can make temperatures drop significantly. So I assumed it was maybe because of that. Or indeed as you say it's not end of June but more May.

The second week of June, it had been hotter before this but the storms the day before cooled it down and there was still a strong cold wind on this day. Online seems to show its nice and hot all the time now

@@Ptolemy336VV indeed this year we were having below normal temperatures and heavy raining in May till mid June, usually our normal temperastures in May are around 25-26C and June in 26-30 C. We have never seen such rainfall before as we did this year in May and June.

Soooo beautiful once again.. if I can make one suggestion, is for both of you to bring water shoes with you So that you can walk around the pebbly rocky beaches without hurting your feet and if there's any sea urchins or anything else that are close to your feet it will not harm you or your feet... when I go on vacation again and it's been five years since I've been on a vacation because of covid I need to get a pair of water shoes💙🤍

Beaches are rocky not powdered sand like south east asia although waters are clear.

Incorrect. Greece has 16.000km of crystal clear coastlines. It has thousands of kilometers of sandy beaches of any kind. But Symi is a more rocky wild mountainlike island, so one can expect more pebble beaches. Asia doesnt have only sandy beaches either. Thailand has only 3000km coastline for example and also has cliffsidecoastal parts that are rocks and stones. Also. Sandy is one thing, but these cliffside coastlines with mountains are a wonderful alternating types of coastlines. It has great beauty. Mountains is beauty, seascapes is beauty. Greece has both maximized in it's country

You hit another one of the park with this one! I think you've become my favorite travel bloggers, along with Gabriel Traveller. What an incredible deal on that boat tour, especially considering the quality of the food and drinks. Noticed the big box of retsina, my favorite type of Greek wine (second favorite is assyrtiko). Though retsina might be considered a "peasant" wine, it has a unique, mildly bitter taste from the pine resin, which I find appealing. And it's generally quite cheap 🙂, though I've tasted some more high-brow varieties.
