Nice video of Santiago. Cerro Santa Lucía is very nice and close to the center. You showed a statue of Liberator Bernardo O'Higgins, whose father was Irish and his mother was Peruvian. Food in Chile is not famous, but you had a good local summer dish, pastel de choclo. It's okay, but they put too much sugar on it. Pastel de jaiva (crab) is better. They also have fried "congrio"(conger eel), very good. Chileans love "mariscos" (shell fish) of all types, raw or cooked. Well-done on the vinyard tour!

Those old buildings can resist heartquakes over 8 on the Richter scale, construction regulations in Chile are very strict. Maybe that is why they are not been replaced.
