Imagine a world where all people can enjoy life's unique visuals and sounds and smells and not have to worry about the anxieties of working 50 hours a week just to pay bills. You guys deserve the life you've made. I'm happy for you both.❤

You do realize that both Chris and Carol do have full timej jobs as cintent creators. What we are seeing is a highy edited version of their travels and life. What thru dont dont show us is the countless hours spent editing their video footage and researching what places to to visit, mapping ouf thrir itineraries, where to stay at, etc. That's why every so often they take several days off just to relax and recover from it all.
@net2dev11 ай бұрын
@@rjhemedes I believe his point is about being stuck in a soulless 9-5, sleep eat work repeat. Chris and Carol are working while living. Most 9-5's wageslaves are working 50 weeks a year to live 2 weeks.
@rjhemedes11 ай бұрын
@@net2dev Many people can do what Chris & Carol do for a living, but its really a lot of work behind the scenes which is why many KZbinrs eventually get burned out. I have fantasized about being a KZbinr and doing travel videos and such, when you do the actual research of what it requires to be a successful digital nomad, its rather exhausting. What I do is this: I have a Mon to Friday office job. One weekends, I try my best to be a tourist where I live in Southern California. The money I save up from work I spend on traveling 5 weeks per year to other countries/states to explore. Activities like strawberry and raspberry picking - I am lucky enough that where I live there strawberry and raspberry and blackberry and blueberry farms just an hour or so away from where I live. Plus there are a wide variety of restaurants, museums, points of interest that I can drive to within LA or doing a day (weekend) trip to Santa Barbara, San Diego, Palm Springs and even Las Vegas. Life is what you make out of it. Most of us can't just travel almost non-stop like Chris and Carol do, but we can always be tourists on weekends where we live, especially if we live in city that has a lot to offer to residents and tourists alike. Live your life as a resident tourist and life will always be an adventure.

You chose my favorite meals again this episode. If I have the opportunity to travel with you in the future, I will definitely ask you to order for me! The strawberry hot tea looks amazing. It’s the first time I’ve seen hot tea made with fresh strawberries. I really want to have a cup! DOMINICAN is so beautiful, far beyond expectations. I am curious whether it would be more beautiful in summer? It’s so beautiful and wonderful to see the world through your channel! Thank you for taking us to visit DOMINICAN, super great job! I’m moving back to my island soon 🤞🏼 I live in the States since 2010 and I’m a US citizen. I’m thankful for everything this Country has offered me, but I’m so ready to move back to my land. I cant stand the anxiety of this country, the pressure is too much. I’m selling my house and cars and buying one in DR close to the beach. I miss the organic food,the feeling of freedom and zero worries. 🤍Constanza is beautiful and it also gets light snow sometimes by the way… fresh strawberries and grapes. I will be visiting Constanza as soon as I move back, but I think I’ll be living in Punta Cana or some other Province close to the beach 🤍 I’m glad you’re enjoying your stay in my beautiful island 🇩🇴

Constanza also has a 'pyramid' and a site with Taino petroglyphs. It also has very good local restaurants with tasty food because that little town is our major producer of vegetables in the country.

I know exactly where you are at when you passed the pink home with the cloths drying outside! I was standing there bring in the new year with family and friends. We were watching the fireworks from that exact spot! Across the street from the pick house is were we had a party. I wonder if you guys had been up to this place that is run by the beautiful lady named Emma! She has a bar up the road with lots of animals and a cool play ground for kids!!! I actually saw the end of a rainbow down in the valley at that same spot. I was trying to get a picture of it but was not able to. WOW!

Every morning the sea mist will rise up from the craggy coastlineto the all the neighboring mountains and valleys- coating all the plants with morning dew as the sun rises and the clouds head for the sky! Consider that if you decide to travel to the northern part of Spain where it looks more like Ireland the closer to the coastline! Thanks for sharing your experience with the Domincan Republic! You need hot weather and high mountains with forest to get that kind of clouds. In São Tomé e Principe it's like that almost everyday, the peak of São Tomé ( not to be mistaken with the peak Cão Grande - 600 meters high ) is 2000 meters high in such a small tropical island, that it is like a greenhouse. When you go up the big mountain, as soon as you pass the "city" of Trindade you start driving within the clouds. From the capital, at sea level, if you look to pico de São Tomé, you will almost see it covered in clouds, sometimes here and there the sky is open, but not very often. Also in Portugal, the island of Madeira and some of the islands in the Azores also have the same view, because the weather is not cold, and the islands have lots of vegetation and altitude. You should visit São Tomé e Principe someday, you'll fall in love immediately!!
