I think rather then punishing player for spreading too far they should give players a incentive to stay together. A buff of some kind, may like a .5 armor regen speed or attk/rng buff. Coming from helldiver 2 I realize players hate more than nerf is being force into a player style they don't want or feel like it being restricted for the sake of being "Harder".

When you knock two Majoris into a execution state, you need to gunstrike one and execute the other. I've killed three Lictors at once with my Bulwark, it was hands down the most epic fight I've had in SM2. One of the most insane fights I've had on Lethal was during Termination, right after powering up the generators, you'll open a huge blast door, in that room a Terminus will almost always spawn if it didn't happen earlier. We had a Neurothrope, 2 Zoanthropes, and a HUGE wave of at least 10+ warriors an a million gaunts. It was God damn insane.. Lethal ya might say. We almost gave up, but we're Space Marines and we know no fear, so we fought our bloody asses off and won. That area is very tight, we were outta ammo by the end of the fight. We were a Bulwark, Assault and Vanguard, it was a helluva fight. It cemented the fact that the Bulwark is the strongest class in the game, even above your precious Tactical, because we cannot die, you can. Haha

3:54 it’s funny because I feel like this issue is a byproduct of people trying to not steal kills. Like as an example with your build if you knock two majoris into execute, they assume you want both executes. This is bad since the execute time is very quick and sometimes you only have time to execute 1 outta the two. Still though I believe (especially in the higher difficulties with more experienced players) it’s just an etiquette issue. Where people are trying to not step on each others toes. Probably over time people will understand that if you’re not already focusing this one dude into execute, then just take the execute and move on.

The problem is not lethal difficulty, it's the player nerf/eni buff over all the other difficulties. And the RNG god that kicks in and decide it is time to wipe you out.

literally almost impossible to play assault on lethal difficulty in it's current state and the fact that you can't even get armour when both your teammates are dead is just a dumb mechanic. Game is not fun anymore and stressful to play with randoms. And the nerfs were not necessary when they released a harder difficulty and dumb mechanics. Complete HD2 vibes I am getting from the game and prob not gonna touch it until newer content comes out as I have already unlocked everything and it's not fun to play casually anymore.

I also guarantee the devs are gonna pull a HD2 with nerfing the Tactical with grenade launcher now that it is taking even more spotlight compared to other classes and builds

@@ryfighter9648couldn’t agree more mate. Tactical is now a must. I think devs have already acknowledged they messed up and their is another patch coming next week. Lethal is fine as it is. They just need to get rid of the proximity thing and make it that only executions get armour back and not parrying minoris enemies

I've been clearing Lethal regularly playing as Assault with randoms. Sure I get outta tethering range sometimes, but its never for long. I've done the same with Vanguard, you just gotta be smart with your grappling hook or jump pack on lethal.

the grouping mechanic is similar (but much more important) in the other 40k game darktide. called "coherency". it just doesnt fit in this game with so much more movement

Space marine has less movement mechanics. Darktide has stamina and limited dodges, sm2 doesn't. Positioning is equally important, and they are both team based games. both grouping mechanics encourage teamwork. It's just something players will have to learn how to do.

Because content creators are to a certain extent a level below pros who are still extremely good at the game and have all the time in the world to put hours into the game and say it's not hard

I’m having a blast. I’m running solo and failing, but progressing little by little. Should be able to solo in a few days. I really hope they don’t nerf lethal.

currently lethal really requires maxxed out gear and skills. you need to run optimal classes for the cohesion mechanic. but other than that its been pretty fun!

@@Thesavagesouls My 2 cents is that the perk should only give 2-3 grenades back max. Enough that folks cant just run around with infinite grenade hack. Everyone should have a perk similar that gives some ammo back either as an over time refill or small batches maybe ammo can equivalent once ever 30 secs for killing majoris+ enemies.

As a melee player myself I think the thing when enraged enemies get unstaggerable is total bullshit. Assault becomes completely useless against chaos enemies because every major is ranged one. And overall it makes fighting every ranged major very inconvenient because he can just become unstoppable and oneshot you at any given moment. I can live with tight formation, but this change just makes melee feel bad sometimes. Also when enraged enemy calls reinforcements it's 90% is going to happen because the only thing that can stun them 100% is a grapple hook. Otherwise not going to happen most of the time. Which is stupid too. The "3-4 extremis at the same time" can be really bad if you want to solo something. For example when I did solo inferno on my bulwark I had 3 zoantropes and a ravener at the same time. This was very bad experience...

As someone that have problem with Ruthless i probably never going to try Lethal.. I watching so many youtube "Easy" clear Lethal with Bulwarks and Assault (Solo with bots), I think melee is fine. Still looking for video with Vangaurd & Heavy clear Lethals (Solo with bots). I like the Tactical Grenade best, So good to hear it doing fine in Lethal. Still have Heavy & Sniper to level to 25, Simple dont like them, But want to max after all. Great video. Kindly.

In future update, they will present us new classes as Guardman so we can play as mere human which can use only lasgun then we can experience how horrific should be and shitted ourselves if lethal isn’t hard enough.😂😂😂

The reason bots are always out of range, is because the bots are not programmed to be able to run. Instead they're programmed to just teleport too u if they fall behind a bit.

Only played one lethal match so far, and the number of enemies that spawn is pretty insane. It sounds like that this is the EXACT difficulty spike that people said they wanted, when they complained about ruthless being too easy after patch 3.0. The coherency mechanic is a bad decision though, unless the devs at least double it.

I think the high number of mobs is cool, but no nerf, no spreading malus and no double or triple extremis enemies.

No the sweatlords are now saying we love Lethal get gud. And honestly I dont care how hard they make Letha for them.. what I hate is how all the nerfs and difficulty is being applied to sub lethal difficulties. I'm killing 600+ enemies, 13 specials, and doing 13k+ damage in AVERAGE difficulty.. like WTF.. Average is as hard now as Ruthless used to be. Since everyone stopped playing because of the difficulty bumps and now almost all my games are solo and Substantial/Ruthless are damn impossible now.

I love lethal, it's so damn fun. Lol Now when I play other difficulties, it's like a walk in the park. Zero stress, just all fun. I used to play Average to chill and have fun, but now that's too easy. My new relaxing game mode is Substantial.

At 14:40 ish you could have got all your Aux grenades back from the change weapon pod after killing the Lictors btw.

I really enjoy playing Operations solo because my friends are working when I have the time to play, but the Tight Formation mechanic with bots has completely turned me away from even attempting solo on Lethal.

Yeah, it's pretty rough for a solo player, but I'll tell you if you get the Heavy bot it can be easy mode, that bot is op.

@JumpinProductions I've sworn by Tactical for any Lethal run but I never know which class spawns with a Heavy. I think Tactical normally spawns with a Bulwark and Heavy, though I could be wrong.

the worst spawn i had was 6 zoanthropes 3 extremist spawn all doubles didnt have a tactical heavy or sniper to deal with it .

I hit R3 on my controller to switch, I used default controls but I have my dodge on my paddle for my controller which is the PS5 DualSense Edge

No!!!! Three Lictors/Ravengers are fine!!! The new difficulty and the larger mobs density are fine!!! Please do not complain and makes Saber nerf the fun!! Just the armor distant mechanic ruined everything! Reverse the 20% armor debuff and cancel the teammate mechanic will solve everything. Do not over nerf the lethal difficulty PLEASE!!!

@@Thesavagesouls It is fun actually. We came from Doom Eternal Ultra Nightmare and Horde mode, and Ghost Of Tsushima Legends (multiplayer) and this multi mini-boss is just fine. You just learn to perfect parry them all before doing a gun strike after their attacks.

The sniper doesn't have as much as a problem as you think. With going invisible off perfect dodge and off of your ability, you can survive longer then any other class alone. You just need to know when to break off or join your team to get executions I run the relic las fusil beta Las fusil perk tree: Increased capacity Adamant restoration Amplification Head hunter Amplification Great might Brutal rampage Increase capacity Perpetual velocity Sniper perk tree. Core: Melee mastery High capacity Lethal efficiency Team: Marksmanship Gear: Purification, (It's debatable to use Renewal) Targeted shot Lingering concealment $ignature: Evasion

I played sniper yesterday. He feels comfortable as always. He still nukes every major in 1-2 laser shots and for the most part no one shoots him at the first place, so he doesn't lose much health. As long as I don't run melee build on him he is great😁
