I've been using a atk weighted high defense XL shadow jumpluff. Something like a 6 15 6. Before nidoqueen it would go on a rampage against azu/gfisk cores. Pulling shields baiting AA, surviving 2 RS from gfisk and hopefully coming out with energy to EB the azu coming back in

Nope my buddy gave me a tropius a long time ago that had *decent* ivs, 8 think like 6/15/15. Not the greatest but its like 1497 so i was STOKED. Looking forward to jumpluff tho, its just all around cooler than banana chin.

I found 4 Swag-approved attack-weighted Hoppip today, and 0 that were high in the regular rankings. This is why I love these breakdowns: They help me invest in something other than the Rank 1 and feel serene about it. No FOMO.

NGL, I've watched this video and read the game press article and this is the most confusing video. Do I go the for the 12 elite Jump or the 136 attack weighted. I don't know I'm just not tracking. And then we get into shadow Jumps... 🤯

With Fairy Wind, you want a Def weighted one. Shadow is probably just bulk.

Hey Swagman, any thoughts on updating your article to reflect Jump getting Fairy Wind? First impressions it seems worse than Bullet Seed, but PvPoke has it as the recommended fast move now. Maybe because of the better coverage and a little faster energy gains. It still seems like the "Top 12 Stat Product" table is the way to go regardless of Fast Move, but I'd be interested to see if this affects the Slight Attack weight recommendations. Thanks for all you do!

When you have a Android phone you can pre-check your Pokemon using CalcyIV. You have to scan it and use to "Power-up Simulator". It round to 1 decimal place, so you might need to check them later more detailed, but it is very usefull!

The weather in my area will be sunny during the c-day. That will be great for the 3x stardust, but not so great in getting a rank 1 0/14/14 xl jumpluff. Guess I can get the rank 1 non-xl at 4/15/14 which can spawn in the weather boost

I feel like a bit of a smooth-brain asking this but on the tables, when I input an IV and it says it’s valid, does that mean it meets the BPs? It seems to but how does that correspond to the colors, when the IV spread is displayed as green/yellow/red?

It's an overall upgrade EXCEPT ditching Aerial Ace hurts against Whiscash in the simulations.

@@danielpayne1597 I managed to snag a 13/14/14 hoppip during the com day and evolved it to Jumpluff to get the charge move Acrobatics. Should I spend the 50k stardust and 50 candy to open up the 2nd attack slot for Aerial Ace? And is bullet seed the preferred fast attack? Thank you

@@damienlee3753 Always Bullet Seed unless there's some funky Silph format where Grass damage is worthless and Bug damage is premium. Jumpluff goes well past 1500, so a 13/14/14 isn't really ideal. Check Go Stadium's rank checker. The Rank 1 is a 0/14/14, though there are good Jumpluff stats with Attack as high as 4.

First shiny was my best of the day 4-14-4. After comparing stats, looks like the shiny performs basically the same as the 4-14-6, so I decided to shiny flex my build. Thanks SwagTips for the great content.

Hey Swag! Firstly, love these videos...really informative and provide amazing guidance about making the right choices while investing :D. I fortunately have a rank 40 1/15/15 shadow Hoppip ready to go. It does win the Trevenant match you talked about, even going straight Acrobatics in the 1s. I have a question/concern before dropping a lot of candy and dust into it though...you talked about the 98.9 ATK breakpoint for the shadow. Mine reaches only 94.94, but with the rank checker and breakpoint calculator it doesn't allow me to select the shadow. Does the attack product change when I simulate shadow vs non-shadow due to the 20% shadow damage boost? Because if the attack product changes with the boost, that puts me at 113.928 which seems abnormally high. So, now I'm having second thoughts if I should build it. P.S. Keep up the amazing content, and kudos for digging up the info! Really really helps people like me who don't know much about how to search for breakpoints. The way you explain it makes it very easy to understand. I'm sorry for the short essay xD

Atk Breakpoints and the like on PvPoke use the "non boosted" Atk stat for the numbers. It makes it simpler to use IV calcs because the IV calcs don't have to modify the Atk stat on them. So 98.9 Atk is what you'll see on PvPoke and IV checking apps, but the true stat is really 118.7 or something. Your 94.94's true Atk is ~113.9, but it misses the Breakpoint because the Breakpoint is at boosted true Atk 118.7. To avoid confusion, I use the non-boosted stat for the BP because that's what all the apps will show you and highlight. Sorry if I double explained here, heading out of the house soon😅

Worth noting too that CMP uses non-boosted stats. So while your Shadow is like 113.9 true Atk, its non-boosted Atk is 94.94 and will lose CMP to a Normal Jumpluff with 95 Atk for example.

If the choice was between a good IV Jumpluff and a lucky Tropius that gets decently close to 1500, would you still say Tropius would be the better choice?

I'd side with Tropius yet in general, but Jumpluff is different enough where Team and meta context is needed. They're just different enough of Pokemon at this point. But if I had to make the choice blind, I'd say Tropius.

Found a shiny top 1000 that has the breakpoints. Saved me from investing in a top 100 that wasn’t shiny didn’t get the breaks in atk. Thank you for the silver lining!

Start to doubt those pvp deep dives and those wonky iv spreads. I went to pvpoke run 2 sims vs open great league meta and rank 1 jumpluff is way way better than 1/9/2 you recommend. 22 wins 33 losses vs 26 win and 29 losses... same result are in all pokemon open GL.

Sometimes the number of wins isnt as important as what they're against. Not saying you are necessarily wrong, but your metric isnt complete.
