The 2018 Jordan ‘Grape’ V is a shoe showing respect to Will Smith who rocked J’s on the show The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air.
However, these shoes released without lace holes but they have the makeup to have laces added which was done on my pair. To me, this makes the shoe so much better, after years of waiting for a Nike Air release we get these. It was disappointing but once it was discovered you could add the lace holes/laces this TO ME, made the shoe look much better.

If you can get used shoes that are lightly worn but in excellent condition, you can save big time money. If you're wearing them anyway, it's a win, win. The teal complimented with that rich purple is a favorite of mine. Nice pickup and I've been going back myself and getting sneakers that I missed on. Been a follower for years.

I personally like the 2018 grapes with the nike air logo on the back and the nike on the bottom of the shoe alot more then the 2006 grapes. I owned the OG grapes in 1990 and the 2018 pair is the closest to the og 's. Plus the 2018 grapes the emerald is a lighter shade like the 1990 pair. I Avoided these like yourself because they didnt have laces but if i find them with laces i will definitely be picking these up. great review of an iconic shoe!

I was still in High School in 2018 I was in the 11th grade when those came out and the 2006 pair when i was in 1st grade and kindergarten I was 6 years old when they came out in 2006 as a LS in 2006

No, it’s okay to be different. I like them like this and to me it actually looks better with this pair constructed like they are to have the holes punched that were punched. That’s my opinion.
