After years of flying through Europa and the world, I was offered the rare opportunity to join the crew of the Air Dolomiti flight from Munich to Bergamo inside the flightdeck and finally made my first jumpseat flight in my life. Thank you guys for making this possible. It was an honor to fly with you.

Schon komisch: Da fliegt man seit Jahren mit den üblichen Verdächtigen wie Airbus A320 oder Boeing 737 durch die Gegend - und ausgerechnet ergibt sich dann die Möglichkeit des ersten Flugs auf dem Jumpseat in einer Embraer ERJ-195. Vielen Dank an die Damen und Herren bei Air Dolomiti, die dieses ganz spezielle Erlebnis für mich möglich gemacht haben.

All Embraer aircraft have these yolks. I’ve flown them and they work well. Only time I wasn’t a fan was in a strong crosswind you could whack your leg. 😳
