Don't know if my balance is garbage, or I'm just making it more difficult on myself by trying to learn this in Vans on a carpeted surface...

My best advices for you to have a better balance : 1) Look up. Don't look at the ground or your feet 2) Do the moves very slow. Once you master the choreo in slow-motion, add more & more speed 3) Use your arms for a better control of your blance 4) Don't put too much energy. Be light & relaxed ;)

For me, who is sedentary, jumpstyle is a challenge. Even though I admire it a lot, when I go dancing I get tired extremely quickly 😂

Well dancing is a great work out that builds stamia and jumpstyle too fast music burns quite same energy 😅 if you can enjoy it its a great way too get fit

hi, i've done multiple years of irish dancing and i have the habit of keeping my arms straight and not moving them, is it important to move my arms or can i keep them fixed ?

Everything's fine but did you know that to make double draai corectly in oldschool you have to make 2 kicks to the front not just 1? :D Every one trick in oldschool jump should be make after 2 front kicks :) nice vids, great idea, I'm waiting for more :)

Hi Sosho, We're presenting a variation without the double kick. Of course it's possible to use a single or a double kick. There are so many variations : you can find dancers on youtube from 2008 using both versions Thanks for the support ! Once the basics are covered, we'll dive into more advanced techniques including spins, warmup etc..
