Some people said something like "Nina is the worst CNT character and she got nerfed in CBT😭😡". Some think Xiaoyu is the worst. And now there is Asuka.

Tekken is fun for beginners as long as you don't open the move list and start hyperventilating

It's kinda complex and hard if you are completely new to TEKKEN, I think so. But if you really want to try it, why not, it's a fun game. At least you have played Fighting Game before, so I guess you won't have a really hard time, maybe just confused at first a bit. Basic things like footsie, punish, frame, etc already like 2D, so you will feel familiar right away with these. What you will get overwhelmed by is probably how each character can possibly have so many playstyles by itself (it's kinda different than 2D playstyles) and you probably be overwhelmed by the movement (some character can move weirdly, do weird things, pressure you with movement, etc) + move list as well, the average moves of each character are around 100 moves, but some have even more, like character King even goes to over 180 moves, wait when Lei Wulong comes out as DLC, etc, maybe some of them it's gonna goes to 200 (including transition stance, etc that isn't listed in the move list). You can watch "How Does Street Fighter 6 Compare to Tekken" by the MainManSWE guy, he's a nice guy in TEKKEN, I guess. He does have some opinions and fair points about these.
