Excellent lecture. I would like to know the current state of art of that. At that time, I was writing my MsC in Physics Thesis regarding Optical Atomic Clocks for detecting relativistic effects of first and higher order for applications in determining the geoid by trying to synchronize distant clocks tied with optical fiber. Unfortunately, family issues prevented me to continue that research. I hope someday to go on this interesting topic!!!
