Dude , average crowd in Lucknow last year was around 35000 for the first season of the franchise last year .Only first match game against Delhi had few empty stands ,becoz people weren't familiar with the experience of the IPL and one match against Gujarat which was played during day at 42 degrees temp ,besides Marquee matches against CSK,RCB and MI were almost sellouts with the cheapest ticket costing over 15 dollars .

Mazher, actually a lot of indians are nowadays travelling for team india. So dont put indian fans in the same bucket as pakistani or srilanka fans who are not travelling, Indians are now earning well and have the purchasing power to travel abroad...u take any match involving team india anywhere in the world, 90% of the stadium is full of indian fans..granted, about 50% of them might be diaspora..but the rest travel from India..even qatar football world cup, a lot of us indians travelled spending good money, I am one of those ! I also think Indians get visa easier than the pakistanis.
