My first home movie camera was a Sony CCD-F77 which I bought in 1991 for about $1200. Being that the compact 8mm technology was new, there weren't too many brands other than Sony and a few others. I decided to drive around and use the city's booming skyline as my subject. I start off at the airport and move closer to town from there. The quality was about as good as it got for a home movie camera in the early 90's. Definitely, not HD quality (that wasn't even a term). But the real subjects are the buildings and cars and noticeable things from that year that stand out.
