Transposition of Formula or changing the subject of the formula is the topic. Ex in y=mx+c , y is the subject of the formula . They might ask you to make (x) the subject of y=mx+c . You rearrange the formula to get it in the form where x is equal to something. y=mx+c y-c=mx y-c is now equal to m mult by x. The m has to move to the LHS of the = sign to leave x . So as you are mult by m then move to LHS and divide the y-c by the m. So y-c /m = x And x is now the subject of the formula i

@@kingjarif4182 Sad mate lol. Only reason I am watching it is that a friend of mine is starting Edxecel maths gcse. I teach maths myself but not Edxecel . Trying to see what differences are on their syllabus to the Northern Ireland one. The guy who makes these Maths Genie videos is doing a good job . Helps a lot of students who have no access to teaching. Good luck bro

Ulster Patriot I’m privately sitting gcse maths in 2021 and using this as my classes. Literally started from grade 1 working my way up each topic

@@ajsmoth3509 Sitting it privately is hard enough mate. You don't have the support of a teacher in a school or college situation. These vids are some of the better ones on YT. Are you sitting Edexcel exam board? I do one to one tuition with people here in NI but they all are doing Ccea ( the NI exam). I've got one" privately sitting" mature student and they are sitting Edexcel maths. It's A* to F grades in Ccea still. Are you doing Foundation level?. Grade 4/5 is equivalent to a pass on Ccea (c or c*) 95% of the actual maths is the same on every exam board . Just the way the papers are structured is different . Do as many practice papers as you can and use videos to help you .

Ulster Patriot yeah I’m doing edexcel and foundation level mate, basically I use these clips and started from grade 1 topics. I’ll finish covering them all by January . And from January to exam day I’ll be constantly reviewing and doing past papers. As for now I’m just going over each and every topic. I’ve set my own “mock exam date” which will be from December 25-Jan1st. I’ll do the 2019 paper and then see what grade I get. Then I move on from there. If there’s any other advice you have , please let me know. Thanks a lot
