Hey friends, how is it late June already? This year has been going by so fast and this June has been a colder rainy one. Some of my plants are loving the weather and some are not, lol.
In this video, I give a full garden tour of everything I am growing plus some turkey time at the end (and bees). I would also love to hear what is going on in your garden, what is growing well and what is giving you problems.
I hope you enjoy the tour and please feel free to leave any comments or questions. Happy Gardening!!

I organic garden from seed in Zone 8b and out of all the videos I have watched on KZbin, your garden is the only garden I can relate to!! Except for the peas, I just started a week ago. 😂 Everybody I've watched in zone 8b videos are already harvesting their groceries and I'm scratching my head like.. how? Watermelons?Red Bell Peppers? Gotta be box store starters, gmo's, grow houses or indoor starters. Thought I was doing something wrong!! 😂😂😂 great video.

So happy I found your channel! I just moved from Austin, TX to the PNW and it could not be more opposite in terms of gardening climate. It's so strange what I'm able to grow and when. Thank you for the awesome tour and looking forward to more of your videos!

Hello from Woodinville! Loved the update. Some of my veg looks similar to yours (beans, squash) but my cabbage and potatoes are just "hanging out", not struggling but not thriving either. Hoping the sunny days ahead will help there. Also, our basils could be twins. Thanks for covering them in the video because its encouraging to hear that it's probably temp-related. I don't have enough space to grow everything I want and I find it valuable to see what you're planting together and how far apart things are. Good luck with the blueberries! I inherited mine so can't take credit, but they're having a banner year. At least "somebody" likes a rainy June :)

My garden is going pretty well all things considered. A lot of life things have been happening some frustrating, some triggering, and its been difficult to put enough attention into the garden. My chickens (building the coop and run) have been way more work than I had thought they’d be. Definitely would have been a good idea to wait on chickens and get something easier like cats. Really tricky to get the amount of compost I want. I got over zealous and tried to do too much too quickly in too small of a yard. I overplanted tomatoes and potatoes thinking I would give or sell some to neighbors but now I wish I had more space for other things. Potatoes look good. Tomatoes were in pots for a little too long. Its been an anxious spring and Im ready to be out of the suburbs.

I love Jujubes. I have two and they are easy to grow.. You can eat them at different stages. The initial stage is when they are hard crispy and juicy like an apple. They taste a little like an apple too. Or you can leave them on the tree and the insides become pillowy and light like a dry marshmallow and they are much sweeter then- like a date but not as dense or chewy. You can completely dehydrate them and freeze them and use them to make tea as well. They sell them in the frozen foods section in Asian markets

Always love your videos. I am on South Whidbey so your struggles are often mine too. Love those turkeys,

Hello from Lake Stevens! Thank you so much for your updates, my partner & I are gardening for the first time and we’re learning a ton from you! This area is a bit fickle to garden in so it’s massively helpful to see how you’re doing it.

It's fun getting a tour! My potatoes look great too. Winter squash has me worried because theyre so small but I see yours are the same. The cold weather has slowed everything down. I plant flowers in my garden too... it brings me joy and makes my bees happy too.

Thanks for the tour! Love to see all the different things you’re growing! I live near Bellingham so watching your videos has been helpful. When I moved my tomatoes and peppers outside initially, I put a cover over them for a while which helped during that wet cold spell and then later removed it to put up my trellis and stakes. The tomatoes are growing and doing well so far but my peppers are just sitting there. Probably not liking all the cold! My peas are abundant too, of course they are loving the cooler weather! LOL Always happy to see a new video from you! I really enjoy your channel!

I so appreciate seeing where you are. I'm down in Portland, OR and my tomatoes and peppers are just a bit ahead of yours. Seeing you dont have huge ones right now unlike the other gardening channels makes me feel better. I know different growing areas... but you always worry.

Hi Christi! Do you have any ability or interest in fostering / adopting a rooster? His name is Rustee and hes very handsome, bit of a talker, I pick him up alot and hes used to getting hugged. I love him but roosters aren’t allowed in Shoreline. I would love to be able to move to somewhere larger that allows for roosters maybe within the next year. Not out of the realm of possibility.
