Thank you for delivering news in ASL today! Here are my thoughts on some of the news that were shared. As for one killed and 24 injured in a mass shooting in Akron, Ohio, it is sad to see yet another mass shooting. Mass shootings happen because the perpetrators do not have the love of God in their heart. As for Hunter Biden's federal gun trial to begin today, of course, most people will say they are innocent when their crimes/sins are brought to light. And of course, most parents will say their children are innocent when they should be taking a harder stance and say their children should not do illegal things. As for Claudia Sheinbaum elected as Mexico's first female president, she became the president not just because of the results from the voting but because God set her up as the new leader of Mexico. It is always God who sets up and takes down rulers. Second of all, I hope Claudia can do what is best for Mexico. Third of all, Claudia should get married to her partner because fornication is a sin. As for Simone Biles winning her 9th all around title, I could care less as sports do not matter in the grand scheme of things. Besides, the picture of Simon Biles was inappropriate to show as she was dressed indiscreetly. As for the boxing match between Tyson and Paul, another thing I could care less about. It is wrong for people to box one another and cause physical pain/harm to one another. Scripture makes it clear that we are not to commit violence against our fellow human beings.
