One of my favorite Elvis gospel songs! My all time favorite song is How Great Thou Art, the live version! Love 💕 love Elvis’ gospel music 🎼🎵 Back before my Elvis memorabilia was all stolen I’d play my vinyl albums on, what’s vintage now, stereo and blast his gospel while I cleaned house. I had 45s, albums and even a couple 8-track tapes, cassette tapes etc dating way back to the 70s, even some from the late 60s. Those were the days!! Love your singing and playing so much ❤❤❤ MITTE TCB TLC

I call my 22-year-old boy, “My Baby Boy”🥹, he is also my only child…. I love how much Elvis loved his Mom, it shows his beautiful, tender heart! 🪽❤️🪽

Thanks for keeping us entertained! I was looking at my Elvis the legend how it happened booklet that comes with the box set of LP's and noticed that for the 1953 year it says that Elvis started working at the Eagles Nest in October 1953 and for 5 dollars he filled in while the Johnny Long Orchestra took breaks. He would sing Dean Martin's That's Amore but he only lasted a week as he couldn't draw a crowd. If this information is correct, I don't think it fits in with Lucy's timeline as I thought from her account, she visits her sister in Memphis earlier than October. Correct me if I am wrong as I don't have the book. If it does fit in, then it was lucky that she went to the Eagles nest with her sister during the week that Elvis was singing there. The notes also confirm that Elvis had a car - a 42 Lincoln bought for him by Vernon for 50 dollars so that he could drive to work and that he also began going steady with Dixie Locke. I know that Dixie has a book out called Unlocked, which would be great if you could read it at some stage, especially as it may give some more clues or references to confirm the early parts of the AYLT book

I love Gladys she is so sweet. Bacon gets bitter if too done, not sure about that. Maybe that's why I don't eat breakfast. 😂. Just coffee. Elvis seemed to know deep down his father wasn't going to work that hard. Even though Vernon did love him deeply I believe. Great concert, I remember all those guys, I think Jerry Lee was extremely jealous of Elvis. He was basically a great piano player that sang. I appreciate you. Thanks😍

His father had a heart condition. I know what it’s like because.i have a genetic one as do other family members, including my grandparents. It’s tiring, robbing energy and making one appear to be lazy. Not much was known about the heart in those days.
