Oh my gosh... I was just talking to Jeff from Desert inkwell about vac fill pens. Girl! I would love to make that pen into an eye dropper too. I love writing with it but it being a eye dropper would be so much better. I love all your inks and how you just mix what you want.... Gives me inspo to do it myself.

Well clean it vigorously and you just might get your wish lmao! But I did discover I still have to unscrew the base because even just the rod part does stop the flow. But it’s still awesome that I can just remove the nib and grib section to fill it!

Nice selection! Glad you’re still enjoying Yama Budo. You mention fine nibs that are also wet writers… can you tell me a few of your favorite fine nib and ink combinations?

Ooo yes!! Well that kakuno fine with Yama budo - sailor lecoule MF with Alexander hamilton - the Benu talisman fine with van diemans kingfisher azure (also felt v wet with diamine happy holidays) - all of my fine twsbi rose gold nibs have been very wet writers - hong Dian 1862 with both Monteverde olivine and teranishi opera rose- the jinhao 100 f and EF nibs are super wet with anything but that was just luck of the draw with them lol - and the jowo F nib on the zodiac pen is super juicy!! I know there have been many others in the past but I can’t think of them right now! 🫶🏻

I appreciate this video so much! I love your color choices for your new birthday pens! That Kingfisher shimmer is absolutely gorgeous 🤩 and that purple, pink, brown mix for the Zodiac Gemini pen matches perfectly! You are quickly selling me on the Monteverde Key Lime. So bright and pretty! Personally I have been enjoying Monteverde inks for how well each ink has performed in every pen I have used it in as well as the cost. I would love to hear how the Benu handles the shimmer ink overtime and if it is easy to clean it out. Question. Did you say you just dipped your nib into some white lightening and it helped with the dryness of the ink? Also, are you enjoying the Sailor MF or M nib better? I am debating on investing in the Ivory M nib. I love the MF nibs and am curious if there is a noticeable difference?

I can send you some key lime and autumn forest! No, I dipped an ink syringe into white lightning and then even “wiped” it on the side of the bottle before dipping it into the converter, you only need the TINIEST amount! :) Surprisingly I like the MF better! It’s significantly finer but I love the feedback and just the way it feels 😊

Loved this! Have you tried Rainbow's End in a fine nib pen before? I want to get it for my fine Pilot Kakuno but I don't want it to clog.

I have not tried it one that fine!! I think it would not show the shimmer very well at all. I don’t know if it would clog though. Kakunos are so great 😃 I use shimmers in my M nib kakunos all the time and they are perfect!
