Doing the math it looks like the price of spy is 1/10 of spx or add a zero. So buying like options contracts basically is the same add a zero. Spy looks like the affordable way to play until u have account size.

Yep! SPY would have yielded the same % return. I trade SPX mainly for lower commissions among other reasons.
