I'm not a sci-fi fan but Project Hail Mary was one of my favourite books of last year! If you can, try to get the audio book!! (That's my vote!). I also bought Cinema Love this weekend from your recommendation! 😊

Pachinko is brilliant, definitely read it this year (I wouldn't say it's particularly queer, there's one gay character but he's more minor)
