Children of Fallen Gods is my favorite of the trilogy. It is chunky but reads fast. I hope your reads go well.

Yay! As much as I love TBR games, as a mood reader myself I understand just wanting to read the books you're looking forward to reading! It looks like you have a really nice variety of books to choose from this month! I never read/watched Tokyo Ghoul, but I always thought the covers were beautiful and I only ever heard good things about it. Court of Wanderers I decided not to read just due to the reviews being not so great, and the ones that gave it good reviews liked it due to things that I personally wasn't the most interested in. AHhh I really enjoyed the Marvelous Light series! It's a trilogy so the series is done. I know some people didn't like it, but I haven't heard *why* they didn't like it so I can't speak on that, but I enjoyed the magic system and the characters. The final stand off in the last book was SO tense. I read This is How You Lose the Time War last year and thought it was great! Didn't find it confusing at all, but I'm also a fan in general of stories that have time travel so I may be biased. Happy that your demon cup decided to be your angel cup this month haha I've been on a classics kick this year so am excited to continue reading the HP Lovecraft collection I have, I borrowed Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde from a friend recently, and I also have Dracula. I am also looking forward to reading Legacy of the Vermillion Blade, which is a YA fantasy with an ace MC and a queer romance in it. I heard about it from Four Paws and a Book and while I don't really enjoy YA anymore, the way the author talked about wanting to have more ace inclusive stories made me want to support it so really hoping that I like it!

I'm really nervous to see what I think about Court of Wanderers, so we'll see 😅. Legacy of the Vermillion Blade sounds great! I don't much like YA fantasy these days, but I'll always make exceptions for queer books!

I also hoped the War of Lost Hearts would be a bit slower with the romance. I’ve only read book one but I really like slow build up’s and slow burn romances, but I’m liking it regardless.
