If your garden is not featured in a garden magazine, it SHOULD be! So beautiful 💕

Best space I’ve seen! It’s like you put in all the things you love without a care in the world about the long narrow area! And it works! I ❤❤❤ it!

First of all love your content. Your videos are very informative and I love to keep learning about gardening. I wanted to comment on Orange Dream. I have one six years old on a east facing bacony in Madrid. It stands two months with most days over 40 degrees. The first years was as yours, scorched leaves after summer. Now it has adapted and being well watered it goes through summer much better. Hope it helps!!

My balcony is on year three right now. But I still haven't got the hang of it. It's good to know your garden is 8 years in the making. You are definitely a better gardener than me. ❤

Aww no, don't say that, I'm sure you're doing just fine, proof - your garden is 3 yrs old already ☺️🙌🏻!

Your balcony looks so beautiful Dominika. Our weather here in Hampshire,UK has been cold and wet but this week it’s warming up at last and so the flowers will benefit as will I😂 Have you tried growing alliums as I recon they would compliment your other plants really well or would they easily blow over in the wind?
@chavigupta75177 ай бұрын
@@17m2garden thanks! I am trying to grow more perennials too rather than just annuals after watching your videos.

@@gillswift274 Thank you very much 💚! Haha, well then enjoy those warmer days to the fullest 😀🌸! Yes, I have grown some Alliums in the past, mainly late spring bloomers like Purple Sensation and Mount Everest. But I've been wanting to try Allium 'Millenium' for a while now, but for now I have no empty pots left 🫣

How niece, will you please 🙏 show your pots were you put the relish in your bench. Clematis needs deep soil or not? Looks lovely with dark flower and white wall 👩🌾🪴
@17m2garden2 ай бұрын
Hello! Yes it needs a large container at least 40cm tall and wide for smaller and medium large types 🌸 Glad you like it, I decided to keep it for now 😀

I would love a video on how you made the topiary bay laurel! It's such a beautiful plant!

Ah thank you that's very nice of you! The process is quite simple but takes a few years! If I have the possibility to create something similar in the nearest future I'll try to share that in a video ☺️

I just love your balcony garden. It's just so lovely. I just picked up a similar arbor trellis. I really like how you have the bamboo? At the end of your balcony. It looks so tranquil.

All your plants are beautiful, right now my favourites are the hydrangeas and the japanese maple. Don t you think your phoenix bird is suffering because it had more sun before you put the privacy screen? It is true about the clematis , it doesn t look that dark on the video like that one we have in the next to the building. Bye the way, the japanese maple has one stem, didn t it ? Because in my pot there are 2 stems, one simple and one double, so I believe they put 2 little maples together to look like a bigger one. 💚
@17m2garden7 ай бұрын
Hi! That's good thinking but it's definitely the wind, cause I put the maple there late winter before it leafed out and it actually looked better this year than ever before having that extra protection from sun💚 But the wind was absolutely horrible these past weeks and within literally 2 days the maple lost almost all its perfectly healthy green leaves... Oh wow really? Are they the same variety though? Well I think you can consider yourself lucky then 😍🍁!

Your balcony looks lovely! I love the shady area. I'm a bit sad with my strawberries because they got white spider mites. I washed them with water and used diatomeas powder. I hope it helps.
@17m2garden7 ай бұрын
So sorry to hear that! If that doesn't help you could also try predatory mite (Phytoseiulus persimilis) they work really well especially when spider mites started to web already. It shouldn't be too difficult to find some online shop that sells these. There is also a little insect called Macrolophus pygmaeus, it did wonders for me last year! But this last one works better during early stages of infestation.

Hi! Thank you very much! That's Podophyllum 'Spotty Dotty', lovely perennial, hardy to zone 6.

I wonder if acer 'Orange dream' simply doesn't do well in a pot. I had it in my garden (when I had a garden) for decades where it was happy and grew to more than three metres. It was fairly well protected from wind and only some of the leaves received full sun (and were regularly burnt). I had also kept a beautiful Japanese maple in a pot that I took with me when we moved to the city. It is acer palmatum 'Beni Maiko' and I can't recommend it highly enough. It has been in the same 30x30x30 cm pot since 2004! It has never been repotted or given more than some fresh soil on top (and of course fertiliser). My 5th floor balcony is also very windy, but sunny, and the maple flourishes. I have to prune it back brutally at least once a year or it would try to take over the whole balcony.
@17m2garden7 ай бұрын
I never thought about that but you could be right! That's so true, Japanese maples do great in pots and don't require much at all when it comes to maintenance! But for some strange reason every person I know who grows Orange Dream in a pot says the same thing - the leaves get scorched even in the morning sunlight. Thanks for the recommendation btw 🍁

I feel like I'm being greedy.. give us a house tour someday.. although it's a gardening channel but a single house tour will not do much harm to it i hope.
@17m2garden7 ай бұрын
Haha I get it but it's a one bedroom apartment, there's not much to show around 😅 You can actually see it in many videos I posted in winter. I showed how I decorated it for Christmas, how I created a plant wall for my houseplants, in houseplant maintenance day etc ☺️
