You are such a brilliant gardener, Katherine! Ever since I found your channel, just recently, I can't stop watching all your beautiful videos. Your flower garden is so pretty and it is so interesting to see what you are growing. 🌻🥀💮

Thanks very much for following along with my videos Julia. It really feels like autumn is coming but still some lovely dahlias to be had in the garden and I can see the asters just starting to come now x

Thanks Susan, Hattie is lovely. She is an Australian Labradoodle and very gentle, although does like digging, plant pots and wandering across the flower beds!

Such stunning bouquets. Loving each of your videos and all you talk about. I would happily watch more on growing from seed as this is something I am trying to do more of now I don’t work and have time to do. Thank you

Thank you. I am so glad you are enjoying the flowers and the bouquets. This year I have been trying to film as I go along individual flowers and how to grow them from seed so I can make new videos over the autumn and winter months about growing these flowers from seed. I just have to keep remembering to catch the flowers and seedlings at their different stages!

So enjoy your videos. My worst weeds are bindweed and couch grass - never ending battle!
@cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for keeping up with my new videos Honore, bindweed is a tricky one to keep on top of and not one I have here but the couch grass I do and it is a constant battle to stay on top of. My absolute worst though is the creeping buttercup as I just think I am on top of it and next season we are back where we started again!

Hi Anne, great idea. Over the next 2 weeks I am filming some new videos for July. One is how to make a summer bouquet with flowers from the garden and one is on jam jar arrangements as I make some teacher presents x

Hi. Lovely video.like yourself, I need to stake the Dahlia….. As for the most dreaded weed…….not sure of ifs horticultural name , but we in Airth call it “ Mare’s Tail.” When we moved ( 3 years ago) , I asked my elderly next door neighbour how to get rid of it……..he said easy……move house!
@cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm2 жыл бұрын
Yes that’s horse tail weed isn’t it. Not an easy one as it can be quite invasive. I don’t have that one but I do have cleavers or goose grass. It’s tricky to get rid of and it just sticks to everything! Good luck with getting everything staked in the garden and with those weeds.

I’m really enjoying following your work. I wish your season was a few weeks ahead, rather than the other way around! (I’m in London) then I could just copy everything you are doing! You asked if there was anything we would like to see? I would love an in depth video on conditioning stems from annuals to woodies. I am really struggling with this at the moment and often I will sell a bunch at market the next day and as they are being bought, I will notice stems wilting 🥀 😬. I would also love to hear about searing with hot water and specifically, how long from cutting stems into cold buckets can you allow before searing with boiling water? I hope this makes sense. You are great!👍🏼

i just was going to say i am lacking information on conditioning and read that one :) glad i am not the only one :)

Hi Andrew, that’s a good idea for a video. I will do one on that this summer with what I have learned along the way. You will be struggling at the moment with the recent heat down in London. Something we don’t often have to contend with here in Scotland!

@@cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm that’s wonderful! Yes, I love Scotland and I would happily trade some of our temperatures with you!

I love your videos Catherine but I cant find anything about Begonias. maybe i,m missing something or maybe you cant grow begonias in Scotland I live on the south coast of England a place called Littlehampton, if you have a video on how to plant them out i would be most apriceative of you ,
@cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm Жыл бұрын
Hello John, thanks so much for watching my channel. Begonias are a flower I have never grown here but I do know they are not tolerant of frost so for me I would only be planting them out from my last frosts date, usually the last week in May/beginning of June. I would harden them off for 10 days or so before hand to get them used to being outside and then give them regular watering and a feed weekly such as tomato feed.

Your garden is a treat Catherine! I've just had a new border put in the back garden it's about 40ft long and south facing against a 6ft wall. I'm thinking rose bushes, climbing roses & clematis for easy maintenance. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for showing us your beautiful garden 🙂
@cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm2 жыл бұрын
Hi Kim, it’s always exciting when you have a new border to plant in! Good idea for the climbing roses and clematis. Maybe honeysuckle and jasmine too? X

Beautiful! Could you please tell me the names of the poppies?
@cloudberryflowers-flowerfarm2 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks for watching 🙂 The poppies in the video are papaver paeoniflorum ‘paeony rose’ and ‘black peony’
