Looks like you are going to have plenty of good stuff to eat. Nice that you are getting some ripe tomatoes already. We are getting a few, but it looks like later this month and August should be when we get the most. I'm jealous of all that thriving squash you have. It all looked beautiful! I gave up on growing squash except for moschata types several years back. We just have so many vine borers here that it doesn't seem worth the work for me anymore. Hope the heat let up for you there. It's been brutal here.

It is a lot of work to keep the squash alive. Between the squash bugs and borers it's quite labor intensive (not using insecticides anyway). So far this year and last I find if you watch for frass on the vine you can use a knife and often kill the borers before they kill the vine. But you can also plant zucchini about now and they keep going until frost, usually with no borers or bugs to speak of. Only issue is you have to get up in the morning to hand pollinate as you get later in the season. Yes the heat has been bad here too. I don't have automatic irrigation and I've been lazy about hand watering so some of the vegetables are turning out a bit small.
