I think one thing I really love about this album is that it really tells a story from start to finish, and takes you on this journey through a relationship starting and ending, to the aftermath. A lot of times I don't understand an artist's choice of song placement, and it often feels so jumbled and chaotic. This album was just a beautiful ride to go on.

The fact Hate You is one of the most popular songs (aside from the 3 big ones) makes me want to hug our poor fandom 😂 get us in our feels. Love the whole thing it’s got such diversity on it but all quality.

Thanks for this reaction, Pat! The songs that are pulling at me are: Shot Glass of Tears, Hate You, Yes or No, Standing Next to You, and I love 3D and Seven, of course. I also think that the songs are shorter because Jungkook worked with a lot of Western producers and writers, and they have long been cutting down the length of songs. But I do think the quality is there.

I listened to this album all day today while I was working, and time just flew by. Thank you for reacting to the whole album, it was fun listening to it with you. I agree on the sound quality of KZbin vs a streaming service, there are so many adlibs and sounds I missed listening to them on KZbin. Hope your back doesn't hurt too much tomorrow.

The credits in his GOLDEN album (the book) says Jung Kook did the whistling. Just clarifying. He has whistled before (I believe he and RM did the whistling in DNA).

@@debhouckscraftycottage I was going of of what he said in his live on Weverse after its release. I know he has whistled before, that's why I was surprised when he said it wasn't him whistling....🥰

Please don’t change is one of my favorites as well. The more I listen and become more familiar, the more I love this album. Listening to his voice and all the ad-libs, the production, I just appreciate it all that much more

I love your "listening parties" Pat. Thank you for all you do. I've run out of adjectives to describe Jung Kook. Anything I say wouldn't do justice to him, but I thank him for all the gifts he's giving us. Do yourself a big favor and watch the choreography version of Standing Next to You on HYBE LABELS channel, but put a back brace on before you watch!!

I love how the whole album told the story of being crazy in love to the pain at the end of love. I remember songs lasting for five six minutes , I don't kow if its because of radio or people have short attentions spans.

I can't hear Too Sad to Dance without also hearing JK harmonize with ARMY at his concert in Seoul; I can't help but hear and sing it in harmony. But Shot Glass Full of Tears is in my top faves from the Golden album by Jung Kook.
