16:37 This is a common misconception among ARMY. JK here is composing the melody and lyrics to “Run BTS” building on what Suga has done so far. This isn’t for “Stay Alive”. Also, DJ Swivel does the breakdown of production for “Euphoria” and “Magic Shop”. JK is, more often than not, the mastermind behind the vocal layering, harmonising and ad libs. Ida S’ “Jungkook The Main Vocalist of BTS” shows a lot of this. If you want to see why he’s called the Golden Maknae, Ida S has a video for that too. I found them entertaining and informative. JK does a sort of sing rap in “3D” and “Seven”. He has a beautiful breathy vocal technique too.

Lots of people have good voices. Jungkook is pretty special - he's got a ton of different techniques he can use, is a killer soloist *and* great at blending with others, and he's always hungry to try something new with his voice. You can use him to teach vocal technique. He's really so impressive, paying attention to every detail, and he genuinely loves to sing. Watch at least one of his lives where he just does karaoke in his pajamas 😂 he still sounds amazing, but he's silly and fun in a way that makes me want to sing too!

Our JK is known for having perfect pitch. "7 FATES: CHAKHO is a original story produced by HYBE starring BTS. The original story began with a webtoon and a web novel published simultaneous since January 14, 2022. This is the first story in the 7 FATES series." After trying for a year, this is the song that finally got one of my best friends to start listening to BTS. I also agree with the order of songs from the comment by @Rxpinn. I would add 'Begin' as the first song. Also, 'My Time' is the song from Sleep Deez 😁 I would check out the songs mentioned by the other comment, then go for the more recent songs. That way you can hear how he changes. Also, he used to rap when BTS started. 💜💜💜

Stay Alive is particularly written for Chakho, so Yoongi’s production flows just like how the story unfolds. you mentioned like it comes from diff place, and that when one vocal is ending another is starting or overlapping because the character which JK represent in Chakho Zeha is like a hybrid of the mythical creature Beom in the story and a human. as far as i remember they didn’t release any official behind the scenes for Stay Alive recording, if there is, it is only gonna be at BANGTANTV channel, as Bangtan Bomb or Bangtan Episode. btw, JK is a sub rapper, he raps esp during the earlier years of BTS. Mostly, he doubles the rapline during their parts, like j-hope in Wings, SUGA in Make It Right.. i always think of JK as the glue that bind the members’ voices together. so excited to see your journey to his music.. he is really a golden one!

Hey Teej, as many have said, Stay Alive is the OST for the BTS/HYBE webtoon 7Fates CHAKHO. The main characters of the webtoon are "modeled" after the members, JK's character is Zeha, half human and half "tiger monster" or Boem. The members are Boem hunters, and are drawn to each other to hunt the Boem before the Boem kill and destroy the world. Now I am personally not a "comics" reader but I did read the webtoon and it was very interesting, hope you decide to read it as well. As for the song, yes it is very beautiful, sorrowful and both JK and Suga did an awesome job. Fun Fact: that scene of Suga casually strumming the guitar while watching TV.....that was during their BTS In The Soop 2 show. Now I have watched the show (probably more times and I would care to admit) several times and never made the connection to the song!! BTS and their spoilers...some are very blatent and some are oh so subtle!!!!! LOL!! As for other JK songs....Begin, Euphoria, My Time, Still With You, Standing Next To You and of course all the rest from his Golden album. He also has several covers...Harry Styles' Falling, and 10000 Hours (? not sure if that's the name or not), There are others but for the life of me I can't remember them...I'm old...LOL!! I’ve always only heard from other reactors that this song has such difficult vocal gymnastics but Jk makes it sounds so easy. Before I watch this reaction, since it’s a song created for a webtoon of the members that have characters with a type of power to fight to save the world. I think the webtoon no longer plays. Yupp... I'm aware. Solo song, indeed. I say 'BTS' b/c it's quick and efficient in comparison to naming every member when I'm referring to any to all members. The 'THEY' for whomever might've been mix & mastering the song (aka playing w/the sounds n layers). Also, I used 'THEY' towards any artist in general that I've seen the layering process for (MJ, LP, Flyleaf, Dayseeker, etc.). Sorry about that... smh some come out smooth some don't. Here: Imagine leaping really high (that's the "build up" of the song), then... imagine that moment right before you go back down, like inertia or levitating for a second (that's the chilling isolated vocal part), now... imaging that quick moment is over and you dropping back to the ground, eyes open wide, wind in your face, rush (that's the chorus hitting you outta nowhere lol). *I say things like that to allow a bit of immersion and deeper understanding of how somethings making me feel* *some are easy to get, like "this song feels like a warm hug", then others are weird like this video 😅*

I care about the impact of the journey >_> so that's a you thing. I don't do that. A comment recommended this song amongst others and they described this song as really beautiful (not that others aren't), so I figured it's a good transition into him. I don't mind listening to other tracks even if they aren't "newer releases". This clearly isn't the Ch for you... later😮‍💨
