Jungkook announced this performance on Twitter, 30 minutes before it happened. ARMY's knew there would be a surprise that day, and some even figured it out, but many people rushed there after the announcement. I think that's amazing.

Thanks so much for your reaction. You’re spot on about JK’s work ethics. He’s been travelling all over the world since June to record his album, MV, promote and juggling photoshoot for album, Calvin Klein & magazines and learn the dance choreo.Props to JK too for learning how to understand & articulate the lyrics as he’s still not well versed in English! He told Suga he recorded 5 new songs per week for the album, a feat as normally an artiste takes about 3 days to record one song! And the way ARMYs sang along on cue to his new songs, which was released only a few days ago, amazing!❤️‍🔥

Thank you for your reaction. You are right - talent without work ethic doesn't mean much. Its has been a tough road for all of the BTS members battling against, hate, lies, xenophobia the company had little money in the early years fand nearly went bankrupt. BTS had to make do with little income and working long hours. On top of that, although JK has a lot of natural talent, he was (perhaps still is) in private a shy introvert which he has overcome for his love of performing with the help of other BTS members, support staff and the on-going support of ARMY. They have all come a long long way and I have the deepest respect for them all and their undoubted amazing talent.

Jungkook album came out 11/3. This was a special concert for NY Time Square. They noticed this concert 1hr before it started only. And to see so many people wow!!!! Jungkook sings with a group called BTS from South Korea, it's the biggest Global group in the world right now. All South Korean males have to do "Mandatory Military Service" each from 18mos-2yrs. So the group decided to do solo albums since they're all enlisting different times, 3 members are already enlisted and the other 4 with enlist by Dec or Jan Including Jungkook that's why he's working so hard now. Each member have already debuted there solo album. Jungkook is the last and youngest to finish his album, that's why he's everywhere now. Each member had the freedom to do any kind of album they wanted to, Jungkook wanted Pop style in all English album. The group will be back together in 2025 everyone should finish military service by then. Each member solo album: 1) J-Hope 2022* Jack ln The Box (enlisted) 2) Jin* 2022 "ASTRONAUT" single song finishing album after discharge, was 1st to (enlisted). 3) RM* 2022 "INDIGO" 4) Jimin* 2023 "FACE" 5) Suga* 2023 "D-DAY" (enlisted) 6) V* 2023 "LAYOVER" 7) Jungkpok* 2023 "GOLDEN" Each member have different styles and sounds for their solo album you should check it out. Great reaction. I think the only thing that you might’ve gotten slightly off is that for Jung Kook, that crowd was great for a pop up concert, but pretty low-key. He’s been performing for almost 10 years around the world and in front of crowds that are regularly 60 to 90,000. In the UK BTS sold out Wembley Stadium, which holds about 90,000, for two nights in an hour and a half. I think the much bigger deal is that you have a non-English speaker, giving a concert in his non-native language with almost flawless pronunciation when singing. Seriously, how many Western artists do you think would have the courage,(and as you pointed out) work ethic, and dedication to their craft to do that?

Everybody knows that Korean Pop, and Kpop in general have been heavily inspired by American Entertainment and Black/Hip Hop Culture starting with "Seo Taiji and Boys" since the 1990's . Besides, Jungkook has named Usher has one of his idols. And is currently paying homage to Michael Jackson in his latest project "Golden"
