I finished watching the whole series and there were not nearly enough scenes with Seo Hyun and Suzy! I thought there would be more in the last episode, but was sadly disappointed that Suzy did not even appear in Ep 16. There needs to be an entire film about Seo Hyun and Suzy and their love story. MINE gave far too much screen time to the other characters and their stories, which were often too lengthy, redundant and boring -- and not nearly enough attention to the unfolding of Seo Hyun's personal identity, love life and intimate relationship with Suzy. A great opportunity, missed. Will there be a Season 2? We need much more of the Seo Hyun/Suzy story and some of the other interesting women, including Mother Emma. I truly applaud the writer of MINE -- extremely sensitive, nuanced, enlightened and insightful. So well done!

@@jessicaT12345 In an interview with lead actress Kim Seo Hyung, she said that she told the writers of MINE that she felt there were not enough scenes with Suzy and Seo Hyun, that the series needed more. But the writers felt it was enough. I felt better when I read that interview, knowing that the lead actress herself felt the same way so many of us do. She was a better judge of what the public is ready for than the writers were. Bravo for Kim Seo Hyung! She was magnificent in this role and is a person of depth, conviction, integrity and compassion in real life.

OMG! I love this edit so much. I am literally obsessed with Kim Seo Hyung. I have been binging all her dramas, but Mine is one of my absolute favourites. I love how she played Jung Seo Hyun with such dignity and sensitivity. She's just a special actress that always brings something different and emotionally authentic to all of her roles. I'm so glad you decided to make this beautiful Seo Hyun x Suzy Choi edit. ❤ I enjoyed their storyline, but my only complaint would be that Suzy's character is much less developed as most of their relationship takes place off screen, so we don't get a sense of who she is as a woman. I think the show could have given us a bit more in that respect, but a beautiful take on an wlw storyline nonetheless. I hope you will make more edits for this show. There are so many potential wlw ships in this show to vid, and I adore them all. We need more shows driven by strong and interesting female characters.

Admito que la vi por error, pensando que era un GL Thai que estaban promocionando. Pero desde el episodio 1 me di cuenta de que no tenía ninguna relación, pero me atrapó la trama! Creo que este es el primer kdrama que vi. Muy interesante, la historia tiene de todo. Hubiese sido fino que tuviese más representación LGBT, pero estamos hablando de Corea y no podemos pedir tanto. Me atrapó de principio a fin y amé no saber quien fue el asesino hasta el episodio final. Este productor tiene otros kdramas?

It is not her, it is her HUSBAND that is homophobic! He is a radical Christian fundamentalist. His wife, Kim Jung-Hwa, who played Suzy Choi, is not. Her character in the film is the force of change, acceptance and fighting against societal prejudices through her revolutionary art. She encourages the woman she loves to do the same. She knew what the role was about before she accepted it. So if she didn't like the message she could have turned it down, but she didn't. Her husband is the homophobe. Unfortunately, Kim Jung-Hwa, his wife, had to publicly apologize for him.
