It will be ok! When people are new to BTS it’s all a little overwhelming 😊 I think sometimes to start with, if someone’s sounds a little unsure it’s because there is SO much to take in! Singing -rapping - dancing - never before seen MV’s- and it goes on and on! It’s hard to accept all these good things at once. For some people, especially if they’re used to the same ol’ same ol’ groups that just… stand there and sing or rap, meaningless words… all the things I never take for granted with bangtan. I am beyond proud of BTS! 💜💜💜💜

I LOVE that your friend is so drawn to Tae, please let him enjoy it and freely express it just like you were drawn to Jimin and were allowed to enjoy it/express it. Each member will draw people to him and that's okay, not everyone will have the same bias. As a Tae Ult Bias I was drawn to Tae from the very beginning and it was because of him that I got into BTS music. While I love all members he will always hold that extra special spot for me. Yesterday I celebrated my 81st birthday with my family. I am such an Army, with Jimin being my bias, that everyone asked me about BTS. I'm not an Army but a typical fan but I can totally agree with you. Every Kpop group has that one or two members who fastly wins majority preferences specially new fans with their outshining aura. It's a certain type of talent & an additional spoon of luck. It's hard to have a bias wrecker once your bias is JK & V. If you notice,most of V stans bias wrecker is JK and most of JK stans bias wrecker is V. Makes sense. Taekook effect is seductive & at the same time so overwhelming which you can't escape out of it

You can pick whatever you think is best to introduce him to BTS. Everyone's journey is unique to them. So if Tae stood out to him and is who is making him curious, that's going to make him pay attention more because he's genuinely interested in Tae. And he can find out about the others through that. I'd suggest letting him first react to A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7" by Taylor though. At leas then he can get some more insight into each member's personality, a snippet of some of their music and then he can see which songs he's curious about hearing fully or which member he wants to see more of or maybe content of all 7. Personally Suga was who made me get into BTS and I learnt about the others through him.
