42 refers to a 1942 Tequila, so he's saying that she's been drinking. His album was released too late to be nominated for this year's Grammys. It's eligible for next year, but it probably won't get a nomination, even though it should. They have a tendency to still consider it a K-pop album, even though it's all in English, just because JK's from Korea. However, it has American writers and producers on the album, so that might make a difference. The nominees will be announced on November 8th.

I am glad I found your channel and this reaction by accident, I am so emotional right now, I really love this album, it’s meant so much to me as a someone waited Jungkook solo stuff for so long and the album itself was so relatable as you said, every song suit a period of our life and in a way we couldn’t say it loudly he sings it to me ! for those three songs so far I really like Somebody it’s a vibe for me 😂 and to sad to dance just so cute specially if you could see it’s choreo on his golden stage it sooooo cute 😭😭♥️🤍 shot glass of tears and hate you , in both of them I end tearing up, well I said a lot lol , thank you for your reaction! I hope if we get his second album you won’t wait a whole year to hear it as Golden 😂♥️

My favourite off the album is Closer to You. He did a performance of it for the Audacy Live video (and also at his Golden showcase concert). My second favourite is Hate You. JK has explained that he wanted to roleplay a little, and challenge himself to use his voice to tell different stories - not just his own story (which he claims he doesn't have much to say about anyway.) You called it correctly when you saw the titles - he wanted this album to be about love, both the good side and the bad side of it. So, you get the first half about falling in love and the second half about falling out of love/breaking up. I agree that regardless if it's their own story or not, it's cool that they're singing about relationships and kind of subtly reminding people that they do have them!

I really liked your album review… subscribed. JK didn’t write any of these all-English songs. He told Jimin that he knows it’s important to tell his story, but right now that’s not what he wants to focus on. He’s wanted people to give him English songs to choose from and choose things that show different stages of love. From being crazy excited “3D” to “Seven” (can’t get enough of each other)… to the break up - acceptance, etc. No Grammy nominations… even with Seven being the song that is the fastest in History to get 1 Billion streams… and yes, it could have been nominated last year. You really need to watch his iHeart live performances. They are his very best vocals. He sing “Hate You” in one of them. SNTY has been my fave since the beginning. My second fave after listening several times has ended up being “Somebody”

I really think shot full of tears would be outstanding live. Just think of a spotlight on him, minimal backing track, just the swell of the strings and everyone singing the ahhhhh parts. Yeah…

Love your reactions always! This album is so good. I am sooo in love with JK voice and what emotions he brings to us with his singing. And though these songs were not written by JK, he did state that he chose them on purpose. And the placement of the songs is just telling the whole love story in one album. I always believe that they do often sing coming from experience… it is not different with JK, he is just too raw and too real when he sings in this whole album. And I understand that they are all grown ups and they surely might have had some ups and downs in the love department as all of us did….. Love how relatable he is in this album. Jungkook Said on one of the interview that He wanted to share his story but if he didnt has much to share his own , he want to sing the story others can relate and are going through. And chose the topic of Love - Hatred- breakup which the people of his age pprelate . And Put all his emotions to showcase in vocals . And Also chose the path ( inside the fandom , pointed fingers on his choices ) English album Collab Writing credits Even though he was clear for his aim from the start . Bcs they had made the image of him and cage him in that baby image , who cant choose and decide other than what his members said or company said. They give credits of his hardwork/sucess to other members or company or scootr And when he do something against their image , they try to blame on him . And sad part is those people are in fandom . The mindset of He shouldn't get sucessfull than the group or other members. Called his live performances promotion "favoritism" . Called his singing in English "western validation" . Even though they all know , he used to cover English songs, from very start cuz he loved to sing . They tried to create mess with charlie puth when he collabed with him. When he collab with latto When he collab with harlow When he fifa opportunity. But they couldn't see when the main vocalist with 10 years , has no ost , Solo album. He was working 24/7 on bts song behind the studio but never talk about that , but he is credited and Member talk about it. But I so happy , he was so happy to perform alone with his first solo Album. And he get confidence that he can do and try many things.

My favorite song on the album is Standing Next To You. Like when that song came out I was fucking floored. It instantly became one of my top 10 songs of all time. But if we’re just talking non-title tracks, my favorite is Yes Or No, with Closer as a very close second. All the albums they’ve put out have been so phenomenal, it just makes me so happy. Even if they don’t get acknowledged by the Grammy’s, it’s clear that all of their solo music has been received very well and I hope they’re all proud of what they’ve done. Ahh, I can’t wait for you to hear the rest of the albums you haven’t heard yet. There’s a few songs in particular I’m dying for you to hear. I hope you have fun on your trip! loved your reaction!! also wanna point out before finding bts i listened to all kinds of music and never cared about writing credits etc so i never knew who wrote and who didnt but after getting into bts that became a thing so i went back and looked into music i loved and saw and was able to tell ok this person is singing but they never went through this themselves while this other person knows what this feels like. im saying this because i saw some people saying this and that whatver its not important what they said but basically. even tho jks album, taes album and jimins who werent written by them you can just feel they went through this at some point. its feels real and vulnerable and i think thats what you were getting at. they werent handed just one day for example it did feel authentic but it couldnt go to the emotional depths these solo projects go to because it was collective not individual and everyone relationships wont be the same. like namjoon indigo and right place wrong person love themed songs, yoongi's love themed songs idk if you heard them yet so i wont spoil, jimin in face off feel just as real authentic and vulnerable as golden, layover and who even tho namjoon, yoongi and jimin wrote those songs while jk tae and jimin for who didnt write them and it didnt matter because the members who didnt write hand picked songs they related to they all said so. and its so clear in their voices and im so happy they get to express this now because while they had the love songs even the ones not about army like miss right or 24/7 = heaven etc they had a good amount of love songs and they felt less like radio hits but still not as personal even tho they wrote them. but its clear those were based on younger more childish immature relationships or crushes while these feel like their first heartbreaks or first time dealing with toxic relationships or first serious relationships etc which bts never had a dating ban and after 2015 they were able to go anywhere without security and staff so like im happy that they seem to be able to share this with us without pissing off the weirdos who hate seeing idols date etc and i hope that they just like many other things maybe get dating to be more normalized i mean it seems to already be heading in that direction theres some cases here and there but some are just accepted and people move on etc i hope it gets to that point so all idols can date freely cause with everything else they deal with they at the very least deserve love. and i just feel like bts members have found it and are looking again after a breakup or possibly since all their music is made years in advance maybe the relationships were older than present day etc idk sorry for ranting your reaction was very thought provoking and i had no one to express these thoughts with cause you cant mention dating anywhere on social media without shippers and solos and xyz telling you to stop lol. 💜💜💜💜

I am so happy and proud we have Jungkook solo debut album in our hands. The 3 title tracks are crazy and Each bside has their own diehard fans. 👑 SGOT is the last track of Golden reaching 100 million but it’s my favorite ballad. Jungkook did it live at iheart and we still waiting for the vid only the lucky VR viewers experienced it. PDC live at golden stage with the CHOREO eeee it should be a single. YoN needs to be heard LIVE. CTY is so mesmerizing though and Hate You gives me chills every time. TSTD is so sad yet sweet. Somebody is my dark queen though. My absolute favourite, hands down and by far, is Somebody. Then, Standing Next To You. But I also like Closer To You a lot. All the songs are really nice though. Thanks for this!

*Shot Glass of Tears * is hands down the best song for me. There are certain songs that are timeless. The influence the have on you is limitless. This one is one of those songs like "Louder than bombs* 🤧

I totally get pausing music videos or video content to talk but man..pausing a song (audio) without letting it play is a tough watch. How do you even remember what the song sounds like if there are big pauses in between every verse?! 🥲 I don't think anyone can appreciate a song that way. Not hating, just a suggestion to maybe listen to the song start to finish and then make comments or make short comments while the music is playing (that's still far better than pausing soo many times) Also, let's not forget that many of your audience could be neurodivergent too so it will be painful for them to follow especially without any timestamps on the video.

It’s really that simple. 🤷‍♀️ I am not going to change how I feel comfortable reacting and experiencing music in a way that is best for ME considering this is a channel where I am sharing MY experiences in discovering new music. If my style of reacting doesn’t suit someone then they don’t have to watch. There are hundreds of other reactors that they can check out instead. I also don’t think it’s fair to dismiss how I genuinely enjoy experiencing something and suggesting I change that to accommodate how someone else likes it instead… how is that genuine to me if it’s uncomfortable for me to listen to/watch it that way? Also, btw, I have ADD which is the biggest reason for my pausing. Cause there’s absolutely no way I would ever remember wth I would have wanted to say about all the amazing things I am hearing if I waited until the end of the song to say them. So, I have a pause warning on the screen for a reason. I give an additional verbal pause warning at the beginning of the video as well… if I’ve done all that to communicate to the viewer that there will be pausing and the viewer STILL wants to comment and complain about the pausing or make a suggestion to not experience things on my channel they way I clearly enjoy experiencing them, that becomes a them problem! Please find a different reactor that better suits your tastes, rather than telling someone they should change the way enjoy something. ✌️
