Jungkook is such an incredible artist across the board. He's responsible as the main vocalist, lead dancer, sub rapper, and center of the group. People don't realize how much he does behind the scenes with vocal guides, background vocals, adlibs, harmonizing, and doubling under the other members. I can't imagine how much extra time he has to spend in the studio to do all those parts and mix the tracks. He's so humble and hardworking even though he's overlooked and doesn't get credit for everything he contributes to the team. I haven't seen many artists who can sing on the fly like he does on vlive and stay on pitch the whole time even on songs he barely knows. He's an amazing artist and performer but also a great human being ❤️

Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen, JK is CONSTANTLY getting downplayed and hated on for his skills, the amount of people who say "Jungkook is the worst Kpop Main Vocalist" or "Jungkook isn't talented and he's overrated" or the amount of people who try to downplay his achievements as if he didn't accomplish anythung. He constantly gets hate for the dumbest shit, he got hate for eating a apple, he got hate for having tattoos, he got hate for having peircings, he got hate for SKIPPING stairs, he got hate for having long hair, he got hate for his cover of Rainism by Rain, he got hate for being the youngest, he gets hate for being the main vocalist, he gets hate for being the center, he gets hate for being the lead dancer, he gets hate for be a sub rapper. Mans BREATHS and people demolish him, there was a point where it got so bad that he went over 2 years without going on Weverse, Twitter or Vlive. The boys said he distanced himself from them and wouldn't talk to anyone. He is the most sexualized Kpop idol in the whole industry, he is conservative getting dragged into toxic and fake ships. When solo stand and saesangs thought he was dating his tattoo artists, they sl*t their wrist, took pictures of it, posted them on Twitter with the hashtag #YOUDIDTHISTOUS. People said they were going to kill themselves because of a freaking dating rumor. They made fun of him when he was a teen and he had acne, just recently in TikTok this crazy anti edited all of his pictures to make them look creepy and some people said they literally were leaving the fandom because of it. He's one of the most loved idols but in a recent survey he was also named as one of the MOST HATED idols. People constantly downplay his talent and act like he's the worst in everything. There's always people saying "he doesn't deserve to be main vocalist", " why is he lead dancer he's not as good as Hobi and Jimin", "Why is he center, he's selfish he doesn't giver time for his hyungs to shine" etc. Just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it isn't happening, nobody is treating him like a victim because he GENUINELY is one, he is the nicest, humblest idol and people take advantage of his kindness and hate on him for no reason, so why don't YOU shut up

Jungkook is indeed the backbone of their vocals. He really gives justice to his main vocalist position. His voice is layered in all of their songs & his voice color fits any genre perfectly. Most of the time bts songs doesn’t let him show his full potential tbh. Since he can easily slide up and down with his range, they almost always use him like a bridge between tae’s deep tone and jin&jimin’s high tone. Because of that, he doesn’t always gets to show the highlights in his voice in their music. ( like his ability of doing high notes or his rich lower register, or his actual voice tone that has a little bit of rasp). That’s why i can’t wait for his solo album. He has so much to offer in terms of vocals. Btw this video needs a lil update. We now have so much more clips of the members wanting JK to do adlibs for their part. Or members saying they take vocal lessons from JK etc. He does so much work behind the scenes in terms of their vocals

What I learned from this the first time I saw it was that Jungkook records almost all the Vocal Guides to the BTS songs and the others learn their parts from the guides. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a vocal guide at that time. That floored me and made me have even more respect for his abilities and hard work! You wondered who trained him to sound so soulful for that In the Soop ad lib. I think, in part, it may have come from training he received which we saw on American Hustle Life. I can't remember the lady's name, but I remember she was behind the Sister Act movies/vocals. Jungkook and V both got some training from her. Other than that, I think it was mostly him practicing. I know he mentioned that he is going to try to sing in more of his natural speaking tone (so a bit deeper) for his solo work to come out sometime, hopefully, in the near future. He said that singing so high over an extended period of time could damage your vocal chords. Also, there was a Live of the song "So What" from some concert that made me think JK could be in a rock band even. Wish I could remember which concert it was. Last, Jimin mentioned several times that he was working with Jungkook practicing his vocals. I really think Jimin's voice has gotten stronger. I don't know if it was from working with JK, or just Jimin practicing a lot too, but I really do feel Jimin's voice is stronger nowadays than from when he first started. Great reaction.

Jk is an amazing talent. He doesn't even like the term golden maknae, he gets embarrassed. I think you are right I believe his abilities to sing was there but he worked so so hard to perfect it and in his term he hasn't perfect it, thats being humble. thank you guys for reacting to this video! it definetely gives us an insight of some of his responsabilities as a main vocalist. being the main vocalist doesn't just mean singing more lines than the others, there's a lot of extra work that goes on behind the scenes and jungkook most definitely needs to be appreciated for it. i have been an army for a couple of years and to this day jungkook still surprises me and surpasses my expectations with his talents and abilities.

Thanks for the video My bias wrecker is basically unstoppable. I have never seen of the Genz age like him at this point he is basically an elite athlete. He has the star drive of perfection like MJ and the breath control for high energy dancing of Beyonce. Someone who has perfect pitch who doubles everyone. He sings in different keys and different octaves, background vocals for every one of their over 300 songs he protects his voice with just water. It is crazy. "House of Cards", of course live, is a great showcase for his versatility with impeccable harmonization, ad libs and have mercy even scatting...As much as we have mixed feelings about American Hustle Life, I think the guidance he received from Iris, and her praise of V's soulful voice made an impression. Jimin has said that JK dances technically, by the book, but singing is where JK let's loose. It's ironic that when he joined all he wanted to do was dance. It's so admirable that even though in the begining it wasn't his passion, he threw everything he had into being the best he could. .

JK has a god-given talent in vocals and dance and musicality. Along with so many other things. Jimin is classically trained in modern dance, and though he has potential in vocals, he lacks the drive. Same with V, he doesn’t have the range. Hobi is the GOAT in dance, but he is consistently showing improvement and growth in his vocals, despite his insecurities. He’s got the most vocal potential next to JK. Jin is the most underrated vocalist of the group, he is amazing. Even Suga and Namjoon are showing that they can sing well. Dream Team, enough said.

I wouldn't say jk just has God given talent because sure he had vocal potential, but he had no formal training in anything prior. But he worked and continues to work incredibly hard on everything. We still see him singing in the background of videos all the time, he's taking dance lessons for house music, he listens to a variety of music constantly, he works out to stay in shape, and he tries to learn to play different instruments. He's almost always last to leave stage rehearsals and we've seen him stay to practice even after a 3hour concert! We've seen tremendous growth and new techniques in his vocals even in the last 2 years. That's straight passion and crazy hard work

You'll see him singing live without autotune he's the autotune himself he never use autotune watch him sing live with raw unprocessed vocals. Jk works hardest the most he has the most responsibilities in the group. His role as main vocalist is not an easy job. Imagine how much money bighit is saving in the production studio bc of him. He's that rare singer who doesn't need help from the studio bighit is so lucky to have him he's that rare singer who can do anything without help from studio producers don't have to use professional singers who do adlibs or back up vocals cos jk can do it all. Not many singer's can do that. He sings without using autotune his voice is like an instrument by itself he can sing acapella live he sounds great n amazing without background music or autotune just him n his voice. Charlie puth has all praises for jk. Imagine if Charlie puth was his producer jk would have multiple albums by now. It'd so sad that jk went to the wrong * who ignored n neglected his music career for a long time. They only use him for the group. He wasted 9 precious years of his life. If jk went to the other agencies he'd have multiple albums by now. They ignored him. He's the underdog under-rated main vocalist in his team/ camp. He sings guide for members solo songs but he's never credited. It's free he's not officially credited. that's really sad. He wrote some songs that were not officially credited on komca but he was part of credits in physical album for years it's only recently that he got credited in komca for those. Begjn was his concept n creation but would you believe he's not credited in the song? Only one member is. Ig cos jk was the youngest n he was so young but still not fair. They have hierarchy in sk. Jk was always the underdog cos he's the youngest n he was just 12 when he joined label in April 2011. A lot of singers wanted to collab with him solo or have expressed their wishes to collab with him solo but he's not allowed for years to have a solo collab. It's only recently that he did a solo collab with Charlie. Label always have to put all 7 members in collab. For 10 yrs it's only in February when hybe/ bh finally gave him his own solo Spotify acct while others have their own spotify accts. It's only in February when the label gave him his own ost under his own spotify acct. He's been receiving many offers from producers etc everything courses through his label so I doubt if they even reach his ears. I can only cry for the many years lost when jk could have the chance to show his talent n potentials to the fullest. Jk is naturally born n gifted singer talent is in his blood. He excels not only in singing, dancing, rapping but also in art n painting, photography, sports, film making, video editing. He does it all.
