I remember years back when Jr started calling him Jack Perry and fans just ate him alive for it. And eventually he came out to say the logic of why he was doing it and allowing JB to grow as a character. And now we see the tree growing from the seeds. Even without that original thought how crazy would it be to have the son of Luke Perry on your roster and to completely ignore the name value that it brings? JR in this situation showed some of the wisdom we all know he has and being a long term thinker versus just focusing on the short term. If he hadn’t done that back then who knows if he’d be growing into that phase to elevate what he is presented as now?
