You need 3 wires 1 chocolate 2 lighters 1 cup 1 comb 1 talcum powder 1 toothpaste (it's possible) Get intellect to 80 kill the guard with red key with hot chocolate put it in the mould then when it hits 23:00 you can use ur key mould to get into the building in the top then craft the papers you can get out with 5m left

Tip: if a contraband item in your inventory can be used as a weapon, put it into the weapon slot. This makes it immune to contraband detectors. Note that it needs to be the *ONLY* contraband item in your inventory. If it isn’t, it’ll still set off the detector. This only works in The Escapists 1, btw

This brings back memories, I look back at myself struggling so much and now the struggle is finally over thankfully to this video... I never realized how much easier the xbox version is from the pc version... There's no patrol truck and the camera didn't give you instant solitary. Anyway this was really impressive!

There were so many items that you found in the desks that you could have given to inmates. The radio receiver and the talcum powder for example, and the files. Pretty much any contraband raises their opinion significantly. Otherwise great run.

You can make a homemade guard outfit by using bleach ,ink and inmate outfit.And you also can use toilets to put things but DO NOT FLUSH THEM

other ways to chip through include: flimsy shovel, crowbar, and 4 forks with a messy method to bring over

Flimsy shovel requires too many items. You can't carry enough forks and the other items you need to escape. Crowbar is the only real substitute in this strategy, but it's more rare than a screwdriver. Though if you want to forgo the speedrun aspect of the strategy you can definitely use any of those items.
