Jungle Cruise at Night - 4K Ultra Low Light - Disney's Magic Kingdom

We would always pass up the Jungle Cruise ride after doing it for years. This past February, MK was about to close and we were walking past JC with a 10 minute wait. "What the heck.....let's ride." Riding it at night is so much better than during the day. It's not a great ride, but it is a Disney classic. I think the most difficult job to have at Disney World is being a skipper on the Jungle Cruise. These cast members have to say the same lines and old jokes over and over. If the guests aren't into the "adventure" then the poor skipper is helpless. So, when we do ride I always laugh at the lame jokes just to help out the skipper. Even a bad day on the Jungle Cruise is better than a great day at work. Thanks for posting a great night vision Josh.

I agree with you! Being a Jungle Cruise Skipper has to be tough! Those jokes don't get any better... LOL And it's all about the delivery for sure!

Regardless of what time of day you ride it, I think it’s supposed to take place at night. I have ridden it during the day and seen the lamp on the boat being used even if it wasn’t dark. I think it adds to the theme.

Our last two trips to Disney World we did this at night. Late enough in fact that we walked right on [we did the fireworks later in the week]. Nothing better than walking right on favorite rides at Disney.

Planning a trip to Orlando this autumn (fall to you yanks) and the Jungle Cruise is a MUST on my list. Glad to see it doesn't close when the sun goes down cos we're planning to visit later on in the day to catch the fireworks

It's really nice at night! You should do it both in daytime and at night if possible. By the way, we also use the word Autumn at times, just not as often.

Wow Josh! The quality in this was stunning! Right from the start everything was so lush and vibrant. It looked awesome at night, we've only ever rode it daytime, might need to do a wee night cruise next time. Thank you Josh !

I've only been on jungle cruise during the day so this was awesome to see. Idk if it was the lighting from the ride or the camera (or both) but I saw so much more than I ever had before in the "root canal".... that was awesome!

My only criticism is that you panned the camera to the left only once, when the boat passed behind the waterfall. Otherwise, you did a fine job. I love the new camera!

I know that the skippers used to tell you to duck when the natives attacked. But now they assure the guests that they are just practicing Shakespeare. Perhaps they want the Jungle Cruise to be politically correct nowadays? I went a few times in January and we were not told to duck at the attacking natives.
