This is called Disney's Jungle Cubs (1997-1998) not Jungle Cubs Season 02 despite having the same intro. It's also a remade version of the show that came out a year later after a first version of the show wasn't successful.

Ngl, Jungle Cubs' one of my favorite Toon Disney shows growing up and it's still my favorite no matter what. Tho' not gonna lie? seeing the Jungle Cubs as teens in Season 2 is kind of suprising even tho' the sad part is that it leads to most of them being enemies after this lol.

@@abdoulkarimbandatmntpowern1815 there was never a Jungle Cubs book and that op meant Rudyard Kipling (the author of the OG Jungle Book) wouldn't like this because he never intended this. He meant these characters to be as they were in the book. Fully grown mammals keeping wide berths with each other out of either fear or respect. Nevertheless, this is a cute series. But I agree with Kipling not liking this.

You can actually tell that the cubs have gotten older in the following ways: *Baloo becomes slightly taller with darker bluish fur and speaks with a deeper, raspier voice. *Bagheera's fur becomes lighter and his voice becomes noticeably thinner as a result of getting a different voice actor. *Louie's crest disappears and his hair goes down. Also, as a result of a new voice actor, he is given a more feminine, yet recognizable voice similar to how he sounds as an adult. *Shere Khan becomes slightly taller with brighter fur. *Kaa's body is longer and his skin color is changed to a shinier green with magenta spots. *Hathi becomes slightly taller with lighter skin

He's not the only one who was recast. E. G. Daily and Rob Paulson were replaced with Dee Bradley Baker and Steven Furst as the voices of Bagheera and Hathi respectively. At least Jason Marsden still voiced Sheer Khan.
