Not trying to spread false hope but Half Life Alyx started development around the same time TF2 and LFD3 were being worked on, there is even proof of left for dead 3 being worked on even now as well as tf2 had its ongoing comic series but due to the immensity of the project of Alyx I think they pooled their resources and thats why the teams have been nothing but skeleton crews. I only hope now that its been so long and Alyx has launched theyll finally start working on other projects potentially.
