@@goobols Not even just that. Pyro's new weapons are kind of bad compared to the banana. Running down the list, Dragon's Fury requires more effort to use for what is often pretty much no more reward than stock, and for a massive airblast penalty. The Gas Passer is kind of a joke at this point. It lets you ignite Pyros, which is cool I guess, but if you want to spread afterburn, the Scorch Shot does that with no cooldown. The Thermal Thruster has issues with how long it takes to switch back to your flamethrower. It's so bad that even Degreaser becomes hard to use with it. The Hot Hand is kind of a joke, but everyone knows that at this point. It's not exactly competing with Powerjack or the new Axtinguisher at this point.

It's also worth mentioning that the Gas Passer is amazing in MvM. The Explode on Ignite upgrade lets the pyro fill the role of the Medic killer, and because you recharge it with fire damage, you'll be throwing out these things ever 5 seconds. Damage wise, you can keep up with the soldier pretty easily.

Playing Pyro feels a lot better now, so people who previously shunned the mumble monster gave him a second chance.

no it isn't. the dalokohs bar may only heal 100 health, but it also buffs the heavy's max health to 350, indirectly resulting in health packs healing more. the banana heals 200 hp. that's it.

Hot hand is slightly better when you're air blasting someone into a corner, but then again any other melee would do more dmg doing that, so it's still the worst melee in serious play but I like when you go on a random crit spree and get 3 slap kills. Also it makes sense that it does significantly less dmg than the other pyro melees because instead of bludgeoning you with an axe, sledgehammer or post box, pyro is slapping you instead

I really love this update. It brought back what made TF2 special in the first place. The balance changes like the Pocket Pistol, Bison, Rescue Ranger and the Flamethrowers itself, weapons like the Second Banana and the Dragon’s Fury, contracts that are easy to understand and are challenging to complete, taunts like the Jumping Jack and Yeti Punch, cosmetics like the Yeti Heavy set and Saxton Hat and war paints are all amazing! I won’t say it’s the best update in TF2, that goes to the Uber Update as it made the game go Free to Play which saved the game from dying out, I would say it’s probably one of the Top 10 or even Top 5 Best Updates in TF2! Taking about the Rescue Ranger, I think another reason the Rescue Ranger got nerfed was because it was the only weapon the Engineer would use on defence as it was another way of healing your buildings which can make taking out a Sentry a pain in the arse. But now because of the nerf, I’m seeing more Engineers equipping other weapons like the Shotgun and the recently changed Panic Attack which is a breath of fresh air to see rather than seeing Rescue Ranger Engineers 24/7. Also, 5:16 This is how the Heavy reacted when he lost the Heavy vs Pyro War.

Remember the old argument over the pyro's gender? Well, what if i told you that the pyro isn't even human? Thats right! The pyro is infact a robot in a suit built by everyone's notably dangerous texan erection. The pyro's initial purpose was to help protect the engi's buildings from spies. At least, that was the case until the pyro obtained a mind of its own. At this point, the engi knew that his beloved companion was not going to come back, so the engi decided to mass produce his latest and greatest invention. Thus creating the pyro sub classes, such as the pybro, pyroshark, lone wolf, etc. Although there were a few that fell off into the w+m1 category, this was expected due to the system of rogue AI used within the pyro's "brain."

The banana actually recharges 3x as fast as the sandvich. Banana takes 10 seconds to recharge meanwhile the sandvich is 30 seconds.

Just to add, it's actually +100% recharge RATE afaik, not +50% rate or -50% time. Seems to be a fairly common mistake for game devs who write flavour text. The short recharge time might even be unintended.

Not salty, just pissed at the amount of time I could have easily murdered one of those imbecil but he escaped without a sweat cause of this jetpack inexistent drawback, wich could easily be fixed by adding something like -(insert HP count of your choice here) on use. making it like a rocket/sticky that can give you good mobility at the cost of your health instead of a free rocketjumper/stickyjumper with near to no drawback. but then again, apparently the jetpack is shit and everyone want to buff it, actualy, they want to buff every new pyro weapons, like the dragons fuckery, wich let me remind you, do +300% more dmg on burning player...this gun can set player on fire... can melt away a heavy in 1 and a half sec, I personaly tested it...am I the only one with a mind in this game?
