I like how you describe your thought process for the game and the way you're approaching improving is spot on. Yes you're making some mistakes and probably need a bit of guidance on some fundamental concepts but I think with a bit of guidance from high elo players or coaches and enough time for you to get a volume of games in that you'll be able to climb fairly high. Stay focused on the process! Its really refreshing to see a low elo player with your level of attention to detail and curiosity. You're definitely on the right track!

I made a long ass comment earlier but i deleted. Instead I will say Keep doing what you are doing. The only reason you're low elo is because you are a new player. You will never be stuck there. Hope you enjoy cimbing and learning. (Yea wow this short comment feels way better)
