When I started in 2018, the JS strategy of finding high demand low competition niches was very much viable. Nowadays you need a different strategy to be successful because the high demand low competition niches have become very elusive. Even if you find one it only takes a few months to become competitive. Not saying private label is dead. Now the main focus needs to be a strong USP.

I believe that the strategy still works, you just need mpore strategy on how to drive traffic to your listing. Like Listing Optimization, PPC ads, maybe?

No is my answer for now. Sellers often don't make any sales for days/weeks/months. Amazon is pay to play they will bury your products if you don't spend $$ on ads (which btw do not work). Amazon FBA takes a month long to receive your products(you will miss out sales). Seller support customer service which is based in India is useless regardless the issue. US consumer is completely broke in 2025, shop on Temu & Shien now, & not shopping on Amazon anymore. So Proceed with caution, lower your expectations, be willing to loose money, & expect to go into debt with Amazon.
