Thanks for the heads up on the hair - I'm going to be opening mine today and as she is my first Good Smile Company Blythe I wasn't sure how the hair would be. The stock does look amazing - I'm not completely sold on the coat either but I love the blouse, skirt and hat. I think her, Float Away Dream and Song of London Mary would all look great together as they are all dressed in the same kind of Victoriana style. (Oh and congrats on twinning your hair colour with her!)

I agree, I'm really wishing I'd have got Mary because I love the idea of Blythe sisters but I never seem to get "official" ones. (And thank you! Happy accident - my "violet" hair faded super fast but I kind of like it anyway!)

It seems like the stock has gone up in quality since GS has taken over manufacturing, but alas, not the hair :(

I think it definitely has! We had some dark times with Blythe stock, especially a couple of years ago, but we're really getting some great quality out of GSC. The hair is... fixable, at least, but I do with it was nicer right out of the box.

Congratulations on your new doll. How much did it cost all in all to get her to the UK, if you don’t mind me asking.

Shipping on this one was 7200 jpy (about £43) but I think that was because of all the extras I bought needing a much bigger box, and I got hit with an import fee that was £40-something, if I remember rightly.
