*This is why the nets should have proper pegs. It's ridiculous to expect goalies to be able to push off the post and go hard laterally when the posts aren't even planted in. Reminds me of Floor hockey with the flimsy plastic nets that weigh like 500 grams.*

you are aware that net pegs arent for the goalie to push off but so that the net doesnt move if it is slightly bumped or shot on... goalies have skates, thats what they are supposed to use to push with, not a post...

+Kaddy *Certain technique can make use of pushing off the posts. The point is, these nets in the video aren't even planted in. Sometimes goalies need to push hard into posts to make a seal. These nets look like they were placed into the ice with a 1cm pin.*

Damn that sucks. It seems like you had alot of shots on you. I did notice you going into the splits alot more than usual. And end up giving away alot of the top of the net doing that. If i were your size i would stick with more upright butterfly, and get that glove up a shade. Save those splits for the 4 on 0. Just my 02. The pads look like they fit like gloves. I like them a lot

I want to put a real time score clock but it's almost impossible and even with the game sheet for time of goals, penalties, etc the software is ridiculous expensive to incorporate that. Doesn't make sense to invest.

Again just another observation, although this game was just you getting pummeled. It does seem like you tend to open yourself up when you slide and such but at other times are very compact. Just something I noticed on the tips. But again ik how your form can get worse once you get tired so that could easily have been it. My team got outshot 56-21 (played a AAA team and we are AA) and I could see my form worsening. As always just some thoughts, great video again trav

observation from another goalie (not saying i can do it better, but its something other goalies notice regardless) when sliding butterfly to your left, you tend to get up with your right instead of left... youd gain a fraction of a second more with the left. just something most goalies have to work on (including me)

This net peg technology predates modern goalie butterfly techniques. They are from the days when goaltenders stood up all the time to make saves.
