Oh, I forgot to comment on the singing. It was really good to. The lead and the back-up did extremely well on a song that isn't that easy to sing. Especially when playing bass. Great job guys.

This has to be probably THE best cover of this I have seen. It has all the grit and punch of the original. Vocals aside ( not a slight TO them at all) but just from a musical standpoint it would hard to not say this was Wings circa 76 its THAT tight.

Wings was a band formed by McCartney in cooperation with his then wife Linda and they put out an album and even played at live events(I assume) and that was the extent of it!

The musicians are fantastic and this sounds like the "Wings Over America" 1976 live lp. This is that good. The lead vocal sounds like Gary Lewis of "The Playboys" fame and that is not meant as a slight. It's a good vocal. I'd like to hear a more melodic Paul McCartney voice but the musicians are so good that they make it all good! Well done!

Hi Ed, thanks for listening. The Neighborhood Picnic Band is a group of lifelong friends who grew up in the same neighborhood. This is a once a year gig we do since 2006. There are usually 10-12 guys involved and we each pick 3 songs in March and figure out who's playing on those songs. The gig is the Sunday of Labor day weekend. Each year we learn new songs. Many of the guys live out of town now so the day before is our only chance to run through all the songs together. We rely on each guy knowing their part ahead of time. We never waste our time. We're playing songs WE want to play. This is a picnic situation. People aren't expecting to dance. We are not concerned with making them dance. We're only concerned about playing these tunes as good as we can. The way we choose songs we end up with quite an eclectic mix. Some songs are very danceable, others not so much. We have videos up from 2010-2019. I'm working on 2022 now. You'll notice the wide variety we do if you look at the other years of the picnic videos. We have a great response on KZbin for what we do. We cover songs others don't. Remember we we're not your typical band. We're all in our middle 60's now(except for a few of our children who have joined us)and this connection is very special to us.
