Loved your video and your comments. Watching this as I will be going on my cruise soon. May I know if drinks (normal ones like water and coffee and tea) are free on board?
@whereisant2 жыл бұрын
Yes water, plain tea and coffee is free. But fancy coffee is not (e.g. latte / cappuccino etc).

nice storytelling concept and editing style!! saw that you went dream cruise too! so which is better? which do you enjoy more + worth your money? 🤣
@whereisant3 жыл бұрын
Tough question. Even in our family, we are divided on which one is better. All I will say is.. Dream Cruises is more "Asian", a bit rougher on the edges (in a good way), while Quantum of the Seas is all "poshy" and definitely more western. They are both good in their own way, so everyone is going to have their opinions on which is better. Try both if you can!

Nice and very information video! May i know you opinion if 3 days is too short and 4 days will be better? Also may I know how your son handle (scared or took it confidently) the PCR test? Thanks!
@whereisant3 жыл бұрын
I suppose this really depends on you. We like exploring and trying as many activities as possible. So we didn't feel like 3 days is enough. Definitely had plenty of activities we wished we could try. So for us, 4 days for sure. Having said that, I see some people go on cruise just to eat and chill.. maybe 3 days enough. My son took the PCR test well. A bit of sneezing as it tickles. Wasn't scared. Maybe some very minor anxiety before the test, but he's fine.

Nice video.. made me excited about my cruise next month! I heard that must make reservation for the various activities and dining. Do you do it upon booking the cruise or only when you get onboard the ship on day 1? Just curious. I tried on the cruise planner but nothing came out. I am going in Oct.
@whereisant3 жыл бұрын
With cruise to nowhere, they don’t seem to allow pre-booking. Hence I suggested to book the minute you get onboard. Just get the mobile app ready beforehand. The earlier you can get onboard, the better as you will be able to book the activities you want first. May even be worth asking them about priority or early embarkation (potentially additional cost depending on your room or membership level). Having said that, we find that most activities are available for booking the following day if not available on the day. Some can’t be booked anyway, and requires lining up.

Really nice for those who plan for cruising. Is food and activities inclusive in the cruise fare? What is exclusion from fare? It would be helpful for me! Thanks
@whereisant3 жыл бұрын
For us, there's more than enough things to eat and do without spending extra. Generally it's the nice to haves that aren't included. For example, alcohol isn't included. There's a lot of paid restaurants you can try (e.g. Jamie's Italian). Paid activities like Flowrider and iFly aren't included. Internet connectivity is paid extra. There's probably a ton more, so let us know if you have specifics in mind.

@@whereisant thanks. want to know about indoor activities and gaming(xbox etcc)
@whereisant3 жыл бұрын
There's a lot of indoor activities that are free (included I should say) like bumper cars, group dances, Xbox, table tennis, trivia nights, magic and music shows, etc. Would say most activities are free. Some requires booking upfront, while some requires that you line up before the session starts.

When did you Travel? Specific date. How is the rules n condition on cruise now in terms of accessibility to each thing
@whereisant3 жыл бұрын
Travelled on 28th June, when dining restriction was in place (only 2 were allowed to sit together). So, dining was definitely open but we were not able to sit together as a family (you'll notice that in the video). In terms of facilities, it felt like everything was open. More things to do than we were able to cover for our 3 nights cruise. They follow Singapore government rules, so it should be even better now that restrictions are lifted (as of 10th Aug)

Hi, how much u paid for the flowrider and I fly? How about Wifi connection service, does it good when salling on nowhere?
@whereisant2 жыл бұрын
Flowrider was free. I honestly don’t recall how much was iFly anymore, but I do recall it was not worth the wait and how short it was :) WiFi connection is worth paying for. The connection was very good, even for watching KZbin.

World Dream vs quanten of the sea . Which is the better? Why?
@whereisant3 жыл бұрын
Will highly depend on your preferences. Quantum of the Sea is definitely feels more poshy and very western. Dream Cruises offers more Asian food choices and very different list of outdoor activities like water slides and rope courses. Can't go wrong with either of them.

Hi may I know if there are any activities organised by the adventure ocean kids club?
@whereisant3 жыл бұрын
Yes, parents are expected to drop off their kids and the staff will take care of them with lined up activities. Adults are not allowed to stick around, and we were not able to film inside. According to our son, there were plenty of things to do with other kids. Great time for adults to take a break from the kids!
