Love the "Bug of the Week" segment, and well done for actually eating them the both of you. I have seen them for sale, but thought they were to feed to the fish with, not as a snack. I would probably have to 'Wave' goodbye to my lunch if I tried them. And Yes to a film about that boat - why did the builder never launch it, is he still alive etc.

I loved Vancouver when I went there, the substantial homeless population that surfaced around 5pm scared me a bit (I'm also not used to more than ~375,000 people in one place) but overall it's a unique city with its own vibe. Still not as charming as Victoria was though.
@omvaren3 жыл бұрын
You do not need to ventilate the motor box. The air it uses to run is more than enough to ventilate the box. I know you don't believe me, but do the math en you will agree. For the 'breathing air' of the beta/Kubota you use just an insulated air duct made of aluminum, glass wool, and aluminum...the kind home growers use to silence their air ducts. Use 2 lengths of this flexible pipe, each several meters long. One is attached low on the motor box and the other one to the top. The air ducts are ending somewhere in the cockpit. nice and dry. No sound is escaping from those outlets! You should not be afraid of glass particles. They don't come lose easy and the motor has its own intake muffler anyway. For the motor box, you use appropriate materials. They should be heavy. Weight is your friend. When you do it properly, you should hear only the waves.

Hi Peter. I had 2 of the same folding bikes .. but actual spares are unavailable. .. metric being one issue.. as everything now has to be metric...!?!? so .. after using parts from one for the other.. they had to go for scrap... The final problem was the front wheel spindle .. the threads striped! Can I ask what was the water pump you got for your tap water and does it pressurise the system or do you have switches on the taps? Could you say about moorings related to the islands.. which islands are public.. or have some been left derelict.. and costs of boat license etc and town mooring. regards Mark.
