Junk cars littering CHamoru Land Trust property atop aquifer

From Yigo to Dededo, junk cars are littering CHamoru Land Trust properties atop our sole water source. Concerned residents are speaking up to shed light on the environmental health hazard and hoping these eyesores get cleaned up sooner than later.

Isn't there a disposal fee included for residents when registering vehicles every year? Why is the government not using those funds collected to remove these vehicles on an annual basis, like a "tow and scrap" program?

on the big island of hawaii they tow abandoned vehicles to a holding yard and hold auctions monthly. Not all cars are salvageable but i was shocked when i went to a couple auctions how good some of the abandoned cars were and they were selling them. Torching them is just stupid
