Im glad i wasnt the only one who didnt like the tapioca pearls in the tea. my favorite is probably either matcha or brown sugar. I believe boba is meant to be fresh, not in a can🤢

You are correct

I had them earlier today and i was wondering if there was just something wrong with my boba. The drink was pleasant but the boba was not right. It wasn’t chewy, more of a jelly like constancy.

2:36 The Grimace! It would have been great to have Bubble Tea at you fingertips, any time you wanted, but alas, it is not to be. 6:06 Darryl has a very negative reaction here too.

The bubble in bubble tea refers to air bubbles which occur due to vigorous shaking. The boba pearls are an additive. Some call this boba tea. So you can have bubble tea without boba and it still is bubble tea. The inventor is in Taiwan and did not gain much monetary compensation for her idea.

That is very interesting! Most times, my boba tea doesn’t have many (if at all) air bubbles…
@markmoreno72953 жыл бұрын
@@RDWAdventures sadly, same here. Most people disagree with me that bubbles make any difference at all. Why not call it Boba tea if the bubbles don't matter? Most places shake it for too short a time, and with milk the bubbles last longer. Maybe I am all wrong and Boba is just another word for bubble.

The boba is pretty much jelly cuz you can’t freeze actual tapioca pearls in a can. It won’t even taste good tbh

The drink is ok but the topiaco pearls in it are just not topioca pearls.

Hi there. I suppose you are from the mid-west, right? Probably not that many good boba tea shops around there yet. Boba tea was invented in my neighborhood in late 1980's. With the variety of choices & number of new boba tea/ bubble tea shops opened in the States & worldwide, I'm sure you will find at least one combination/flavor & one shop that you like in the near future. Or you can find DIY kits on Amazon for home-made boba tea. Good vid anyway. Best regards from Taiwan.

Hello! There are a couple decent places for boba, but I’m sure it is better in Taiwan! That would be a fun tour! I am interested to hear more😊😊 Yes, we are from the Midwest. Have you been here? Darryl usually prefers Thai milk tea and I tend to get Oolong, without milk…both with black boba (most common here). What is your favorite?
