I just stumbled across your channel (pity I'm a year late...I hope you are still making videos 🤞) I'm ecstatic because the penny has finally dropped. Your words were succinct, your ideas were doable and I wasn't distracted by multicolored fingernails tapping away in the background. I get the rule of thirds with photography but I just didn't get it in journaling for some reason...but you've made things so much clearer for me. I'm almost crying because I'm so inspired. Thank you for this lesson. It was very enlightening. I have been struggling with layering and your rules simplified it and helped me to see where I need to make some changes. The rules have also helped me to see that the things that I feel like are beautiful and balanced that I create seem to follow these rules to some degree.

Thanks for this! I've heard of the rule of 3 before but never what it really meant or especially how to follow it. I'm not much of a fan of the vintage, grunge, antique look so I have a difficult time translating what others are doing into the style and design that I want to do. Knowing the "rules" is most helpful so I can learn to apply them to me!

It sure was helpful for me..I’m a beginner in JJ and use different colors on each signature and always thought when seeing other journals, “why do they all look so beautiful?” Now I know the secret👍🏼🌸🌸🌸 Thank you so much‼️
