I’m only 10 seconds into this video (it’s my first time here on your KZbin channel) because I just “met you” during todays Paper Crafting Summit. 🤗🤗🤗🤗. I am so excited. I’ve also just started my junk journal journey and I’m so thrilled to be creating and using all my crafty bits from Tim and a library full of great books to repurpose and turn into art/junk journals. And thanks to your fabulous organizational tips and tricks….I’m going to be BUSY taping my paper dolls and ephemera into a sketch book. I stumbled upon Luise Heinzl’s TimTastic journal this week, and she is a ROCKSTAR! She and you inspired me to LOOK AT the drawers of mixed media supplies that I had closed off with label tape I prepared over a year ago named “You’re Not Worthy! Had to toss dried up pastes and get fresh ones. And also seeing your beautiful work on your channel, it doesn’t look so scary anymore. I’m continuing a craft room purge, and we just returned from taking an SUV filled with well-loved supplies to a nonprofit (after last week’s PCGO seminar). I’m leaning in a little closer and can’t wait to see what your talents reveal! Thx for mentioning Luise, she’s obsessed with TH in the very best way! Everyone in Tim’s universe must see her TH junk journal-I gasped at every page!

Oh what fun! I haven’t created an “official” junk journal yet either and I’m a huge fan of Luise also! So excited to watch your journey and see where it goes. I love all of Tim’s papers and they are perfect for any JJ! Your vellum papers are gorgeous! For another stamping surface idea....I use an old mouse pad! Works great! TYFS! ❤️🦋💜

I love the way you prepare the paper, I’ve never seen anyone use old paper (& admit that I’ve never tried it either…!) But it’s fabulous looking! I’m definitely adding it into my favorite distress ink colors! The steps you took to grunge up the vellum are great & finishing by rubbing over the entire piece of vellum with an ink pad is genius! I’m not very good at experimenting, even though I watch every video that Tim & the rest of you do! Since you’ve simplified it enough for me, I can hardly wait to grab vellum, embossing folders & inks & sprays! Did you fold the vellum in half to protect the vellum a bit & also get the whole piece done in 1 pass? Again, what a great idea that I’ve never seen before! Thank you, I look forward to more videos! I’m so glad you found a new favorite color! It’s definitely one of mine! I mostly just folded it in half to fit it in the folder but it probably helped protect it a little as well.

I’ve been watching your Junk Journal videos out of order LOL. So very interesting. I love your techniques on vellum. Can’t wait to try it. If I create a Junk Journal it would probably be to experiment with techniques and document them.
