QR code can literally open access to new areas. They can be used to login website, as substitute for bus tickets. I'm glad you are part of January Prompts for Meg journals. Barcodes are every where, I always wondered if these modern day ephemera can be used in journaling too. Inspiring as always.

This video prompted me to look up what the black lines on many business envelopes are called and it is a "facing identification mark (FIM). I have been saving them for some time thinking that they had some artistic use and your ideas will work for those, too, I think. Although the patterns on bar codes are much more varied. Anyway, I enjoyed this and found it inspiring - thanks!
