Great idea. I have been reforming greeting cards that I have got in 42 years of my life in Japan. I was keeping all of them because I just couldn't throw them away. Because I am not young I decided to throw away many things that would be trash for my son when I die. But it is hard for me to throw away things that I got. So I decided to keep only cards from close relatives and reform others to cards. I enjoy reforming them. You gave me another idea. Thank you. That is a real scrapbooking. I have hundreds sheets of new paper but I enjoy most when I make albums covers from tiny leftovers.

@BlackbearyForest7 жыл бұрын
Hi Sylisa. I'm so sorry but I don't have patterns for my tags. Most of them are cut free hand and there are so many sizes. None of them are perfect either. I did take a shipping manilla tag for other tags I made and used it as a template to trace around so if you have one of those you can use it. Also, there are many free patterns for tags you can print from the internet. Just Google "free tags to print". Here is a link to one site I found for you. I hope this helps. I know you can do this. Just try and the more you do it the easier it gets. :-) www.thespruce.com/six-free-gift-tag-templates-2906137?

I adore the direction the take flight tag went! Tho I liked the washi pattern, I wasn't crazy about the original look before you gesso'd. Once you started altering your altered tag, my creative juices started flowing. I'm fairly new to mixed media, but really really want to learn. This video sure helped that growth. I was imagining what I could do with a few of the tags that you said and stenciling came to mind. As well as decoupage with scraps. Thank you for this!

Thanks so much. I wasn't crazy about the look of the tag either. lol I thought it might be a good idea to go further with it showing how it can transform. And I kept it basic...you can really go as far as you want. Oh yes...it's amazing what you can do with scraps. One of my favorite things to do is create pages with scraps. I have a playlist called "All Because Of Scraps". I'm glad you felt inspired and I was able to help in a small way. Thank you for watching. I appreciate it. :-)

Nice tale about your hubby and Baylee telling stories. I have not heard of Thomas Crown before ... funny that you named the mouse that. You are doing really well with the bike riding - keep up the good work! Yes I think you have said the vword "packaging" enough Laurie. Lol :D Wow your tags turned out so pretty! I have been planning to make Tags with packaging for a while now so thanks for the ideas and inspiration. I enjoyed this video very much and look foward to Part Two. Tfs Big hugs, Ginny xo :o)

No way can I count how many times you said, "packaging." I am too busy eyeing everything. I am going to definitely make some card tags and I really like the ribbons attached on the side instead of the top. Going to have to make some myself. And my dog, Chessie, is always mooching off of me, giving me this serious stare, begging for my food. Oh, and my dog has caught two roof rats and a mouse in the last few months. I have started calling her my mouser!

Hi Angela :-) lol...the serious stare....that's so cute. Baylee wouldn't catch a mouse if you promised her a bag of dog food. lol Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. :-)

THIS IS AN AMAZING IDEA! Maybe i just found my new hobby. You know you can sell these as unique gift tags. People will buy them! 75c for skall 1.25 or 1,50 for the larger ones seems fair. Making money from scraps! THANKS FOR THE IDEA!
